Challenge #03765-J112: Raise Them Right

Los estudiantes duros aprenden lecciones de disciplina y respeto de la manera más dura, negándose a escuchar de otra manera. -- Anon Guest

[AN: Translation- Tough students learn lessons of discipline and respect the harshest way, refusing to listen any other way.]

The students called him Sensei Hellkin, when they called him anything at all. They couldn't know anything about his true identity because he never spoke about it. That, and it probably wouldn't matter a whit to them that he was heir to an Earldom on a mountain on the other side of the world.

The Master of the Dojo didn't trust him with much, so he got the lowest-scoring, disciplinary-issued, distractable, learning-difficulty kids who would much rather watch a bug than learn how to defend themselves. The theory being that if he ate them, it wouldn't be much of a loss.

Adept Kormwind much preferred to sate his small appetite with a bowl of rice and whatever the kitchens decided to add to that serving. And a generous dollop of fish sauce to help it down. But that wasn't the issue today. The issue was the mandatory rebellious whelp per class.

Sunday, Twofer

I have done Game Night, I have done the Twofer stream. TaleFoundry cancelled because the host has Lurgi. Toasty has cancelled because a need to be kind to themself.

So I have most of Sunday free so I can take a napnap before PathFinder with the rainbow crew. Maybe.

I know what happens when I say I have the rest of the day free. Something comes to EAT that time. So I'm not saying it.

I have nothing further planned than fuckin'

Saturday, Dominoes

Allow me to draw your attention to the meme blank I have attached to my blog. It illustrates how one little thing can lead to big consequences down the line.

Like... the little one could be labeled, "Emperor Constantine sees a cross in the sunshine" and the large one would have, "President Reagan decides to let millions die of AIDs for moral reasons" That sort of thing.

For me today, it would go thusly: Little event - "Beloved spends a little too

Challenge #03764-J111: Flying, BYO Wings

Humans are NUTS! This one bought something called a hang-glider. Are they jumping off that massive cliff with that thing? This is CRAZY! Thank the powers I have wings and can at least follow! -- Anon Guest

Humans cannot fly on their own. This is known. This does not, however, stop them from slipping the surly bonds of gravity by any other means.

This one was a giant kite. Aluminium tubes, brightly-coloured silk, and very little else. There was a sling attached

Friday, Bad Air Day and Unfuckening Grande

I start my narrative to anyone who cares to read about my life with Max the Nebuliser strapped to my face. The cause of that is decluttering the LandBarge and a Great Key Hunt.

Today, the LandBarge is getting detailed. On Monday, it's getting serviced. Therafter, we're getting rid of it in the process of becoming a One Car Household.

Getting rid of the LandBarge and getting rid of the Tesla will save us upwards of $2K/week as I understand the

Challenge #03763-J110: Recycled Staff

I have died many times now. Each time I am reborn, I have all of the memories of my past life, and the lives before that. I was warned about this, but until my job is done, and they're all safe, I accepted this fate. -- Anon Guest

Sometimes, it's a pain in the arse to be indispensable. It's a worse pain in the arse to be indispensable on a Deregger ship with appropriated B'Nari tech. The instant the CEO noticed my

An elderly dragon. A dragon so old that they could give Wraithvine a run for hir money for lifespan, was coming to the end of their life. They bequeath their entire hoard to Wraithvine and hir friends, to do with as they please. -- Anon Guest

Elves can normally live for two thousand years, give or take a handful of centuries. Dragons could live for many times that much. The death of a Dragon by natural causes is a rare and mournful

Wednesday, Date Night and Wordpress

It's another feast day and I'm hoping that yesterday's Sharts won't interrupt any plans I might have to enjoy with Beloved.

I also have to make some firkin plans.

Already, the Dunwannas are sinking in.

The gotta-gottas are making me feel guilty for having the Dunwannas and I have them worse because of it.

I managed to bork my wrists before I began today and yeah. Crawling back into bed is looking like a valid choice.

I soldier on. I try to

Challenge #03761-J108: Silence and Sanctuary

The walk through the woodland is peaceful after the storm. The sounds of the forest is one of hushed, sleepy, tones. Ice coats the branches and gleams like gemstones in the morning sunlight. -- Anon Guest

The woods are relatively silent. Not dark, because the trees are bare of leaves. They are still deep, all the same. Currently, thanks to the freezing sleet storm the night before, they are beset with ice.

The whole forest looks like it is hung with diamonds.

Tuesday, Patreon and PLNs

It's already half past ten and I really want to go back to sleep.

I might be having a Bad Air Day. It feels like a struggle to breathe but not because my tubes are clogged. It's just... more effort.

Puffer doesn't seem to be making much impact. I'll try the humidifier.

See if it works.

Let's hope for the best.

I should be posting the Patreon offerings, the daily tale, and the Blorbo meme [check my fediverse link] sometime real soon

Educator Kam seemed to read Els' thoughts. "Just because they tested low does

Challenge #03759-J106: They Seek Them Here...

What do I do for a living? I'm a smuggler. What do I smuggle? People. From where to where? From Deregger places safely into the Alliance. Hey, it pays good, I make people happy, and I get to pretend to be a scoundrel and get a few laughs. Life is good. -- Anon Guest

Let me tell you something for free. It's not easy when you do cogniscent trafficking for the greater good. High risk, high reward... sure. It's very much that.

Sunday, Game Night, Tale Foundry, Nonsense

Tomorrow, I journey to MeMum's to teach her things and help fix stuff. Today, I attempt to focus on assorted nonsense. Tale Foundry is reading stories. I should stream today's tale sometime RSN.

Going out and about without the Lappy is going to be a pain in the bum. Yes, I can manage with the iPad, but I never figured out how to stop doing smart quotes in that thing and going back to amend them into 'dumb' quotes is one extra
