Saturday, Day 0, Feast and Mowing!

Plague News: EIGHT fucking new cases. EIGHT. Kraz frakkin dangit. Four local, five imports??? That totals as NINE, dear government site where I get my info. There's allegedly forty-four active cases, twenty-five of those are in hospital. [Maybe tomorrow, the government website will learn BASIC MATH] Australia's at 93% first vax, 88.9% fully vaxxed. Queensland's barely edged out of last place in the great fully vaxxed race at 88% first vax, 80.6% fully vaxxed.

I am now a little bit disturbed that the website I've been using as my primary source of plague news doesn't know how to add four and five.

Anyway.

WE FINALLY GOT SOMEONE WILLING TO TACKLE OUR JUNGLE BACKYARD! I may embrace the dude.

Of course it's a Feast Day for me, so I'm busting out all the little treats I have from their respective hidey holes and enjoying myself. Including the bit where I share chocolate and Doctor Who with Beloved, after I'm done here.

If I write anything at all, I'm claiming it as bonus. It's my early bedtime and weird weekend :D I'm bound to get something done.

In the news:

  • There's an exhaust fluid shortage. I never knew there was exhaust fluid
  • China snippy over something someone said decades ago
  • Sydney wants to move a landmark
  • Two cops guilty of pedo sex with a schoolgirl, but only admit to "embarrassing the force"
  • Muppet turns against another former ally. Shocker
  • Ex-prisoner has an OnlyFans
  • Travel tip to millions of readers: Always board a plane first. That's not going to cause any problems at all 9_9

Anyway. Story. Who. Chocolate. Cuddles. Mowing. All sorts of shenanigans.

Challenge #03241-H332: Bootstrap Syndrome

The business was one that was insanely busy, constantly. Though they did their best to try to get their human friend not to push so hard, the person still kept working sometimes fifteen hours or more a day. While they were getting very well paid for such overtime, it was obvious this poor friend of theirs still had a long way to go in therapy to break out of the Deregger mindset so heavily beaten into them when they were young. --

Friday, Day 1, Bikkie Day

Plague news: No new cases! There's thirty-eight total active cases, twenty-seven of those are in hospital. Australia's at 93% first vax, 88.7% fully vaxxed. Queensland's still tied with WA for last place in the vax race at 87.9% first vax, 80% fully vaxxed. Because Omicron, we're all going to need a booster. I shall be discussing that with my quack at a later time.

I have starters to feed, bikkie to make, Catbox to change and maybe a task or

Challenge #03240-H331: Not As Expected

Hey, can we have a story of Healer Varicelle testing Wraithvine and the others, and maybe of teaching them? This sounds like a REALLY neat story arc of seeing Wraithvine getting an education instead of educating others for a change!

Heh, by the looks of it, you look like you really wanted to go longer than what you put for this story, maybe several pages worth! :-D

I have to round up Pippi for vaccine later on today. Fortunately, Pip is easy to catch. Easier than Jolie, anyway.

I aim to get one chamber a day

Challenge #03239-H330: What a Magnificent Change

How did the CRC respond when he handed over everything he owned, everything he had, even himself, to the CRC, openly apologized, and offered to face the consequences of his past? And how do his people react to know that he has learned the error of his ways, and wants to undo the harm he had done?

I have some ranting to do in Wordpress this week, and I may go off about conspiracy theories and how to disarm them. Either with "so you agree" or with "that's what they want you to

Challenge #03238-H329: United Celebration

The humans have a large, long, parade to celebrate Earth Day. What is Earth Day? It's a day where they remember their homeworld, the beauty of it, how important it is as the starting point of their civilization, and their renewal of a promise to try to avoid the mistakes of the past, lest they ever again risk their future. -- Anon Guest

The assembled colonial polities of Terra, universally known as the United Fellowship of Terran Planets, synced their disparate calendars

Challenge #03237-H328: Down Came a Blackbird

Can we see Rye find their mother please? -- Escla

Somehow, McIrney had got word of what was going on. Somehow, that waste vent figured it out. Then he did something almost unthinkable. He rounded up the surviving parents of any child who had escaped his reign, and held them hostage. And bragged about it.

The assembled mothers and occasional fathers were forced into a throne of flesh, bound together in the most uncomfortable way possible. Supporting the bulk of CEO Harmin

Challenge #03236-H327: Centaur of Attention

The humans land in a world where the beings they thought were fantasy, are real. Unicorns and centaurs, sentient dragons and faerie folk, all living and working together in a society that had long since learned to put their differences aside. They welcomed the CRC representatives with open arms. -- Anon Guest

It seemed like a fairly agrarian colonial world, at least according to the scans. The first scout ship landed somewhere out of the way to meet with someone who may

Sunday, Day 0, Madness Soon

Plague News: Seven new cases, five local, two imports. Australia's at 92.8% first vax, 88% neat for fully vaxxed. Queensland's tied in last place for the race to 95%... for shame. We're at 87% first vax, 78% fully vaxxed.

H: Taking advantage, after long resisting the idea, of their friend's offer, they quietly go into their companion's quarters and crawl in the giant, pillow-filled, nest next to them.

A: Startled, but speaking softly with a tired tone "Hey! What's going on?"

H: "I can't sleep, I had another bad dream, can I stay here tonight?"

A: Gently spoken they smile. "Sure, no problem, I said you could before, didn't I?"

H: "Yeah you did, but I didn't want to bother you.
