Thursday, Further Shenanigans

Date Day happens today because that's when The Bad Guys is showing at a cinema somewhere. The work of funny animal heist animation that is also known as Lupin the Furred because anime fans spotted some cinematic parallels in a picosecond.

I shall attempt to populate that level I've been working on until such time as I am needed elsewhere. After that, it's all smoke as far as I recall.

I now have pink roots under my purple streak, by the way. It takes some effort to see it when my hair's all scruffed up, though. I know it's there.

And so does Beloved.

Story happening soon. Shenanigans thereafter.

Challenge #03377-I089: Priority One

In a ship load of orphans, found in floating safety pods, the two of us stood in a sea of stars. Then THEY came to hurt our babies. I may just be a ship, and my partner may be alone save for me at their side, but touch my kids, and I will destroy you! -- Anon Guest

The SS Plover brought the children back inside when all was safe. The automated systems had taken care of all the dangerous things. The

Wednesday, Wordpress and Hairdo's

Today, my love and I are getting our hair did. I think I shall stick with getting the roots refreshed. My other idea of having a full rainbow happening was likely too expensive.

We have many more expensive things afoot.

Starting with PLNs to have storage space for all our assorted garments. And shoes. And getting all the garbage out of our house. AND rennos.

Yay.

I have finished the primary layouts for the dungeon level I'm working on, and I may

Challenge #03376-I088: Of Sticks and Stones

A parent severely scolds their children for using terms like tief and trash dragon, among other slurs, when talking to, or of, other beings within their village. They were, after all, just as valuable as citizens of their lands, as everyone else. -- Fighting Fit

The parental shadow loomed over Minta. "If I heard what I thought I heard," menaced Rennie Ainsel. "I'd better not have."

Minta noticed that his older friends had fled for better environments. Ones without - for example

Tuesday, Patreon and Other Shenanigans

So everyone's talking about the Oscars and the Thing That Happened. Let's get a few things straight:

  1. Jaida Smith has a chronic condition that effects her appearance
  2. Chris Rock decided that being a dick about this was funny
  3. Will Smith decided not on my watch
  4. All the conservative/white hot takes are all "violence is wrong" because misogyny/racism and misogynoir [which is specific misogyny against black women]
  5. And for SOME REASON we're getting a resurgence of "if you ignore abuse, the

Challenge #03375-I087: Elevation Trepidation

They begin a determined quest to find a way to protect wraithvine and other GOOD magic users from the devastating effects of that powerful spell. And, begin to test Amatu to see just how powerful his abilities truly are, including to see if those wings really will help him fly.

The water looked even further down from the top of the overhang. "I'm not sure about this," said Amatu. "I've only ever glided before.

Challenge #03365-I077: It's Cold Outside

Life on this world really should be impossible. The sun is so far away you can barely see it. It's so cold on the surface of this planet that my spacesuit needs a small furnace to keep me moving. And yet, here you are, alive, in spite of all the odds against you. -- A Potato

Rocky worlds, generally speaking, get life. There are outliers, of course. Rocky worlds that are too far from their sun. Ones that are too close. Ones

Monday, LONGEST Monday

I got home a little after my bedtime from my adventures to wish Capt S. a very happy birthday. So I have less rest than what passes for normal.

BUT... no worries. Miss Chaos has optometrist today so no school to fret about. Huzzah. All I have to worry about is phoning in the absence call once school is open. Yay.

After the stream, the phoning, and the Tale Foundry reading sesh, I can spend the rest of the day asleep.

Challenge #03374-I086: I Want That, But Not All of That

Research Group checking vaccine effects on the Elderly, find one that "Reverses the Effects of Ageing". It was Sponsored by a "Minimum cost" Charity. Once a year and you look and mostly feel 25. Enter "Not in my Body group" some in their 50's. -- Anon Guest

Sunday, Shenanigans!

Today, I do my stream EARLY. So I can then get ready to go on a Leyland's Tour for family meet and birthmas partay.

This may make D&D later tonight "interesting".

Nevertheless, I am making certain that I have the time windows to do this. Yay.

So my PLN is thus:

  1. Do the story stream
  2. Get ready for the day
  3. Travel all over the countryside
  4. Happy birthday!
  5. Travel all the way back over the countryside
  6. SLEEP! For the love of

Challenge #03373-I085: Conflict Resolution

Hammer headed cane, sturdy, handy assistance device, it can 'hook' bags off the floor, and dislodge high items from shelves. It also strongly resembles a Medieval War Hammer. -- KnitNan

[TIL: If you search for 'cane' you get a whole bunch of doggos. Cute, but not what I was looking for]

Saturday, Slob Day

I am taking a day off. I am not wearing proper clothes. I am not going out. I am not doing anything more strenuous than cleaning the Catio [forgot it yesterday] and making the Bikkie.

Beloved has assembled a wee cabinet for the ensuite that beats the flakk out of the former storage method of Pile On The Floor. There's bathmats and footmats everywhere and things are gradually getting less chaotic.

Though I expect some chaos in the form of rearranging the

Challenge #03372-I084: Taking Out the Garbage

We have something that makes the day brighten up a bit. It's often some small thing that makes you smile. -- Nonny the Mouse

Even naturally miserable people smile. It's a wonderment when it happens, and many people taunt them about it. Therefore making the smiles even rarer. Kosh had made note of this and chose to defeat it by wearing his smile all the time. An expression all the more intimidating for the fact that all of his teeth were pointed.

Friday, NDIS and other nonsense

Today, I need to have all my paperwork nearby because video conference with NDIS personnel. Fortunately I know where all that paperwork is and my only hurdle thereafter is being able to enable the conference call because they are using the DODGIEST bundle of bloatware they could for this thing. Huzzah.

We need to keep telling public services that use conference calls that Discord is free. It is also not bloatware and also not riddled with hacker loopholes.

Ahem.

Challenge #03371-I083: Deja Vu All Over Again

Amatu, Vee, Wraithvine, and Pondermoore were traveling, they'd just entered the city with Slippery Sam's cage. A young homeless child, potentially younger than Vee, bumped into the wizard trying to lift the coin pouch. The child was thin, dirty, skittish, and reeked of immense, untapped magic. The young human was only not afraid around Amatu, thinking he was very pretty. -- Lessons
