Monday, Day 0, Onwards!

Plague News: 1 new case, an import. Thirty-nine total cases, thirty seven in hospital, two in the ICU.

The numbers are going down. All the community efforts to step on transmission are working.

And further, my Beloved has made bread.

This brand of bread includes sugary stuff so I cannot partake unless it's feast day. Alas alack. BUT now my love has the joy of keeping a pet Starter and I'm just waiting for them to name it.

They seemed like the perfect set of employees. They actually begged the CEO's of the Deregger colonies to be allowed to live there. They offered to work for almost no pay, even less than what the other workers got. Odd, the other workers were not complaining as this group seemed to do a lot more work, but for less shelter and less pay. A human child, hearing a loud bang, finds an alien who looks, at least to the human, like a medium sized dog that's hurt. The child picks up the alien to bring them home and then gives them a bath since they were covered in mud and sticks. Friday, Day 0, Almost There

Plague News: Five new cases, three local, two imports. Fifty total active, forty-four in hospital, two in ICU.

I blame myself for thinking we had a handle on this.

Some of the restrictions and rules are just silly, but... They seem to be working.

Why is this week crunch week? Because I'm doing my streams AND all the regular nonsense of my life as I know it. Yay.

Which includes a shrink visit tomorrow.
