I forgot a few things when shopping yesterday, so I have to do a remedial shop today.

One among our prizes from yesterday was a cow tongue. Which Mayhem and I are going to turn into a very nice soup. He doubts that I've done this before, but I know I firkin did it.

Okay, yes, I did feed the kids pig tongue earlier, and they had zero objections. Miss Chaos even snaffled the tongue skins for snackage.

We need ingredients for flavours in the cooking, and Mayhem has promised me a very mild sweet chilli to try.

Gotta train up that baby tongue somehow.

Shops will be open. I am going on the supply adventure with Mayhem. Quick and cheap and also gathering the dental kibble I also forgot yesterday.

Tuesday, Payday, Shopping, and Supply Run

We shall have money today. Hooray. We need to pay for so much stuff. Boo. We've run out of a lot of things and stocking up is going to be a BITCH.

BUT it also has to be done. I can only hope that we can afford a little more than the minimums because running out of that before payday hurts me in the anxiety.

Sunday, Streaming and Enshittification

Saturday, Parkrun and The Barbie Movie

The planned shenanigans had the plan implode so the four of us [Beloved, Adorable, Miss Chaos, and I] zipped off to see Barbie starring Margot Robbie.

My recommend: WATCH. IT.

Friday, Routine Return

Beloved is beck to work and still mostly fragile. We're having some fun with it anyway.

Thursday, Aftermaths and Twofer Day

We busted our voices singing the Greatest Hits of Queen among other songs, I consumed WAAAAYYY too much sugar. Great bonding experience all around.

For a majority of yesterday, it was Hurry-Up-And-Wait. Followed by Go-Places-And-Do-Things. So I didn't get many of my offerings out yesterday.

Plus, when I am roaming around the place with the security blanket lappy, my brain goes on "Must write book" mode.
