Challenge #03453-I165: Another Story, Another Time

It's late into the evening, many travelers had gotten together to camp and, seeing Wraithvine and hir companions, invited them to join the encampment for the evening. A warm fire, plenty of spare tents, food, and smiles. Several children run up to Wraithvine and the others and beg for a story before it's time for bed. -- Anon Guest

"Oh don't bother the great Wizard," said one of the parents. "They've got a destiny to fulfill."

"If it's a destiny without stories, I'd rather not," said Wraithvine. "It's been a long time since I told children stories." Ze smiled for all the eager little faces turned towards hir. "All right. Get comfortable and listen..."

Tuesday, Patreon Organised!

I'm feeling accomplished this morning. Woke up early and used my time to publish all my Patreon stuff. Which kind of makes up for being overheated and bothered by an innard rebellion.

Besides my insides trying to be outsides, I have all the rest of the day to worldbuild, chamber-build, and maybe write a few things besides.

...and watch CritRole. Because of course watch CritRole.

Still attempting to be kind to myself. Kind of need to write a few things about my

Challenge #03452-I164: Apply Therapeutic Felines

A human was sitting in the park softly weeping, they'd had a very bad day. But it's hard to stay sad when kitties and Skitties crawl in one's lap and start purring. -- Anon Guest

The straw often gets the blame for the breaking of the camel's back. Metaphorically speaking. It is not the straw, but rather its addition to weights already in excess of what the camel can handle. One last drop of rain does not cause the dam to burst.

Challenge #03451-I163: Return to Sender

A Deregger invents a weapon that is as small as a micrometeor, however, as soon as the Hungry Caterpillar system snaps it up, it explodes. While one or two are not, on their own, all that dangerous, he figures hundreds of such tiny explosions will do quite a bit of damage inside those things. -- Anon Guest

Clever people have tried to sabotage the Hungry Caterpillar before. Chiefly, asteroid wranglers who considered supremacy in the deadly art of stopping space rocks before

Sunday, Feeling Hollow

Went to a Queer Social and didn't know how to contribute to the conversations. The person we were meeting after said social cancelled. Went looking for something fun to do and ended up nope-ing back home. Woke up to catch Tale Foundry and it's been moved to tomorrow.

Feeling a little unloved in my particular pocket of the world.

Still, I have plenty of time to write my blog, work on a chamber or two of the dungeon, plot or write something

Challenge #03450-I162: No Dessert 'Til You're Just

The CEO drifts in space in a luxury - filled lifepod, with multiple lifepods filled with the survivors from his fleet linked in a circle around his own. The AI was safe in its own contained cube floating nearby. They were NOT happy with the CEO over this incident. Heh, and their recriminations were nothing compared to what the CRC had to say to him when they rescued everyone.

Saturday, Brunch Shenanigans

I'm going out for brunch with Beloved and my DM. Which are two different people. I've never had a brunch before so this promises to be interesting.

I've also got Miss Chaos trying No Frills Clarityne in the hopes that this fixes the dang cough. Fingers crossed.

She may have similar issues with Sneezin and Wheezin Season that I do. Dangit.

BUT I also have to be ready for everything tut suite so we can be offski ASAP. Fun.

I am also

Challenge #03449-I161: What a Mix-up!

A person who recently joined Pax Humanis is a chemistry expert, a poisoner. But also uses their chemistry knowledge, and their lab, to make antidotes for poisons. A great combo to save a life of someone who was poisoned, while still taking out a target who was found to be a slave-trader trying to kidnap Alliance Citizens. -- Anon Guest

A common mistake in the Edge Territories is thinking that the Diminished Responsibility bracelets and anklets are there strictly to tell people

Friday, Unfuckening and PLNs

The Catio needs cleansing, there's a small mountain of dishwashing to do. There's absolute mountains of clothing and such. If I can do at least one round each of dishwashing and clothing, it might give Beloved a little bit of a break.

She was literally up all night, poor darling.

We have a LOT of stuff. We have a LOT of bills.

Three figures for my meds. Three figures for the cat. Three figures for all the cabinets and storage spaces we

Challenge #03448-I160: Transparency Would be Nice

A Human Adventurer is collecting Kobold eggs, carefully putting them into a lined basket. They are attacked, defending themselves and avoiding harming the eggs. They explain about the danger to the eggs, and continue to gather them to get them to safety. -- Anon Guest

Litefinger had learned well. One being can change the world with two kind hands. Those kind hands had stolen a basket, foraged a lot of wool from the thornbushes, and were now lifting eggs from a Kobold

Thursday, I Need Air!

Sneezin' and Wheezin' Season is kicking my butt. STILL. I need long rugby socks to keep my fetlocks from freezing. STILL. Miss Chaos still has a cough. STILL.

Good news, I see the doc this friday. Just in time. I have almost run out of my meds.

I also know how to show proof of my jabs. Huzzah.

So today is a day of rest. I shall work on one chamber minimum in TaleSpire and not expect very much out of myself

Challenge #03447-I159: Milestones and Progress

The adult Bubs speaks to an interviewer for a podcast who wants to know how she came to grow up with the family she had. What happened to her birth family, and what she did now for a career.

https://peakd.com/fiction/@internutter/challenge-02942-h019-a-happy-end-of-a-sad-story -- Anon Guest

I don't really remember my place of origin that much. Just little things. Like how differently it smelled and how unclean it was. I remember being afraid of adult humans for quite a while.

Wednesday, Wordpress and Shrinky Shenanigans

I derped, yesterday, and mistook the date of my shrink appointment for yesterday instead of today. Fun. So now I have more leftover anxiety to flop around about on Date Night. Yay.

I may or may not write about my first encounter with possible sexual assault later today. My shrink and my Beloved will be the only people who get a direct link.

In other news, a very dumb American state has passed a bill to "protect women" by... (reads the smudged

Challenge #03446-I158: Lucky You

A rich idiot manages to trick a couple of Pax Humanis enforcers into going after an innocent whose only "crime" is that they're a Lucker who managed to win a lot of money off the rich idiot. Once the enforcers learn the truth, well, the idiot's lucky they got away with only a severe beating. -- Anon Guest

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool Pax Humanis - they'll be lucky if they find your body.
