Friday, Plague Day 4, incoming medical assistance?

My head's a bit clearer today. However, my voice is shot to shit and trying to talk makes me regret it in twenty minutes or less.

Which is going to make a phone call from the Covid Response Teams some "interesting times". Beloved has offered to talk for me, but she's sleeping off the Plague 90% of the time.

It's going to hurt.

I feel like I'm recovering, but it could easily be a false upswing before something else lands on me like the proverbial ton of bricks.

I am still very light sensitive, and have to wear my sunnies to use the computer.

The good news for y'all is I actually feel like writing my Instant straight away. For the first time since Tuesday.

I shall see if it gets done. Wish me the best.

Challenge #03490-I202: Strange Happenstances

A Nagha, Kevin, Ma, Wraithvine, Podmore, the Raven-folk a tiefling named Abundance, and young Venin the Goblin all ready the place of destiny that Kevin and Ma were supposed to go. However, what they were to do, was a bit.. complicated. And not at all what anyone expected. But when they finally settle down, the motley crew at least have family to rely on, that is to say, each other.

Beings are from these stories.

Thursday, Plague Day 3... Ow...

My head is splitting and I'm coughing up opaque stuff. I can't look at the colour because the headache makes me light sensitive.

I barely have a voice left, so calling the doctor for better painkillers and maybe antibiotics is going to be problematic at best.

Make that "definitely antibiotics". I just coughed up something very green.

GDI.

I am a very sore, very tired bean. I'm waiting for the painkillers to kick in and it looks like they're not being nice

Challenge #03489-I201: Keeping the Balance

A person, a historian who wrote the chronicles of the world once asked, what happened to all the kingdoms, empires, and other lands where the corrupt leaders were felled by Wraithvine the Eternal, and there ended up power vacuums? Did he leave the lands in such a state, to go to war with itself as new powers tried to claim the thrones? Or did he find a way to rule them, until ones could be found that were worthy of such seats

Wednesday, Plague Day 2, Everything's Cancelled

My breakfast is a slight bit cold. My tea is a slight bit hot. As a result, I'm taking my pills with spoonfulls of tea so I don't burn my lips on the mug. I am hoping that I will be over the worst of it by Friday.

I might even have to pause the daily tale. I will see how I feel about stuff and nonsense after the painkillers kick in.

In my list of symptoms:

  • Headache
  • Backache
  • General creaky joints

Challenge #03488-I200: Trouble From the Little Things

A broken-hearted child who was severely scolded and reprimanded all because they were trying to be kind, now hesitates to help even when asked. Constantly terrified they are going to be shouted at for doing even the smallest thing for anyone. They've taken to isolating themselves, afraid of being around others, and in need of a lot of therapy.

Tuesday, Plague Day 1

Yesterday gave me a scratchy throat. It also gave me a nice notice from Miss Chaos' school saying that there had been CORONA EXPOSURE in her class.

This morning's RAT had a faint line in the "positive" section. Which, for those of you who are unfamiliar, means that I have the plague.

This morning has given me an even worse throat, a headache, and pains in my bones. I shall aim to get my content out anyway, but my main focus will

Challenge #03487-I199: And Your Choice of Dipping Sauce

A group of humans invite a large group of Vorax, as well as other factions of their kind, such as the farmers, the factory workers and so forth, to a huge planet that's a foodie paradise. Shelling out the time to take them to an all-you-can-eat-high-calorie-lots-of-meat buffet. Why? Just for the fun of it. -- Anon Guest

It's not often that one invites the enemy to a dinner date. Neither side was truly prepared, but the Humans knew how to do peace

Long Monday, History Repeats

This time, we have ample warning of a new rash of plague threatening to sweep the nation. And this time, there's absolutely no motion to try and quell the tide.

Everyone's fucking given up and it's going to kill so many people.

Grr.

I'm going to have to spend even more time in isolation because of those maskhole knomiras who don't care what happens to anyone else so long as THEY don't get consequences. Well, my dearies, Death doesn't have a manager

Challenge #03486-I198: All Turned to Ash

At the end of it all, The Void returned, now white as fallen snow. It swept across The Great Canvas, consuming all in its path.

In the destruction, there was absolute chaos. In the emptiness that followed, there was absolute order. Both found harmony, in the end, and everything was still. Silent. At peace, forevermore.

Battles long past, alliances forged, the endless struggle of order and chaos, all lost to time, like footsteps in the snow.

So ends The Great Canvas. --

Sunday, Tale Foundry plus Game Night

Procrastination is my copilot and if I don't quit that noise, I am going to pay for it later.

Gotta be kind to Future Nutter.

I now have a PLN of action to get Chaos' NDIS sorted at long freaking last. I should also make an appointment to see the quack because some parts of my physique have become very painful and will require medical intervention.

I'm also taking along my Beloved and some independent test results because the doctor I keep

Challenge #03485-I197: A Terror in Tulle

Never, EVER, assume, just because the human's so much smaller than you, that you can just bully them. You will NOT like the results! -- Anon Guest

There is an ancient Human saying, Never trust a very small girl in a frilly pink glitter tutu with a sword. The reason why it's a Human saying is only known to those who work at Renfairs. It certainly wasn't known to the attacking pirates when they encountered the equivalent of a lost tourist bus.

Saturday, Game Night Ho!

Tonight is another night for Gort to enter the shenanigans. Timing of everyone willing, of course.

In the meantime, I will do either one chamber or one void in TaleSpire. Building dungeon be hard. Blargh.

Then I shall think of something to add to Alfarell. If I am so inspired.

I am so tired today -_- I might just default to playing Minecraft with my fellow maniacs from D&D.

I need to go Redstone Hunting again. Hargle blargle. Always

Challenge #03484-I196: A Basket Full of Trouble

A young Tiefling brings a bouquet of flowers to Vee and Amatu while Wraithvine deals with the local authorities after picking up the young magic user they met.

https://peakd.com/fiction/@internutter/challenge-03371-i083-deja-vu-all-over-again -- Anon Guest

[AN: The WHOLE adventuring party so far is: Wraithvine, Amatu, Pondermore, Vee, and Rawr. Our little thief makes six. That's a pretty full adventuring party. Therefore, Tiefling has to be a recurring NPC. It's usually a FIVE man band for a reason]

Friday, Teh PLN

Miss Chaos comes home this afternoon. Which means we can perhaps get all the nonsense together for the NDIS sign on process. The longer we procrastinate, the worse it gets for her. Therefore we need to get a wriggle on.

Augh.

Why is everything both needlessly complicated and also expensive? It's not fair.

Today, I do another chamber. After I sift through ten potential publishers and find the ones who may be amenable to my nonsense. I procrastinated out of doing it
