Thursday, Easing Off

I woke up at 2AM, this morning, but preferred to browse my phone rather than work on ADT. I might get a paragraph or two in, later today. I might not.

Shopping looms, but I can get away with waiting one more day for that achievement. Which also means I'll have more funds to fuel the foods.

I have a storytime video to arrange for tomorrow, the obligatory offerings, and figuring out what the hell I need to do to improve my general mood.

I'm feeling more than a little worn out. Emotionally run down. Bone-weary. I figure my hug tanks are empty and I'm just one more day away from a refill at the hairdresser's. This has been worse because of my stupid firkin ankle. No regular social time because parkrun.

I'll probably do the shopping expedition tomorrow. A little slice of time with human beings I don't have to herd into civilised behaviour.

TubeTube might be interfering with the transfer-and-bug-out plan. It doesn't like having things downloaded off it, apparently. I might have to do it the hard way, but I will do it.

Eventually.

Wednesday, Mor Bread and a Rant

I have the first loaf of the second batch proofing in the incubator, the ovens warming up for the baking. I am now paranoid as to whether or not I have everything set up for the baking. I'll check that out when I go to ice my ankle again.

Already refined half a chapter - yay. Managed a little bit more of the fanfic I have going on in spite of my efforts to control myself.

I have a loaf in the incubator, Wilson warming up for the next batch of bread, and I've learned that LibGen, a database of stolen works used to train AI, contains my book The Amity Incident.

Monday, Bread and Business

The fam's on our last loaf, so I'm beginning the process of two batches. Yay. I've published the video for today, so all I need fret about is the daily offerings.

Especially since I got half a chapter in at 1AM.

Insomnia for the win? Maybe?

I think I might prep for Wednesday by taking screencaps of the Murderbot Critters(tm) and attempting to do some armchair xenobiology. Maybe including the more obvious xenofauna as well.

The Archive is going through some good stories and I'm in the queue. Yay.

Saturday, Signs of Improvement

I took a shower, this morning. So I had to journey to that destination barefoot. I was waylaid by the cats, and by laundry [remembers to put stuff in the dryer...] and I managed all of that back and forth with only minor twinges in my ankle.

I can wear my heavy shoes without ankle aggravation. I can walk around the house without needing my cane.

Friday, Efforts Continueth

I managed half a chapter at 3AM. I fed the cats, my starter, and myself. I already posted the storytime video on Peertube.

Now I just need to focus enough to work on the daily tale.

Today's experiment is: wearing my heavier shoes plus my ankle brace.

Last time I wore my walking shoes, it made my ankle angry. I'll be seeing if it does that today.

Technically, I am very productive today. I have caught up with video production. I've written another half a chapter [at something close to 1AM]. I have five chapters to read for Adorable, the daily offerings, the rant, and maybe some free time for myself yet to do.

I now have an invidious account by which to avoid giving metrics to YouTube. As far as they're concerned, I'm just not there any more.

I have found a way to watch YouTube without giving them activity. Huzzah.

The process is currently hitting a few snags, but I am firkin DETERMINED to get this done. If it takes me all day, it takes me all day.

So far, since 2AM: I have written half a chapter, fed the cats [the most important part of my day - ask the cats], got my brekkie, took my meds, and posted my Patreon stuff. Huzzah!

Monday, Backup Reads, Work, and Mistakes

My previously-thought brilliant idea to keep track of my favourite YouTubers was not that brilliant after all. It would still give TubeTube all the clicks.

Currently, there is no escape from that machine. Give it time, and there will be somewhere else.

Meanwhile, I might have encouraged an exodus. I can hope. In the meantime, I am sticking as much to my guns as I can. The news I want to get is not available anywhere else.

Sunday, Enacting PLNs

I have a means to watch my fave TubeTubers without setting off the All Hallowed Algorithm or making it look like I'm still watching YouTube. There's jiggery-pokery involved, of course, but it's better than bowing to the wowsers.

I have written my story for the Archive, and I should at least think about my "leaving YouTube manifesto" and maybe a reply to the "change your PFP to Clippy" thing. I need scripts or I'll ramble. It needs to be brief and snappy.

Saturday, Shenanigans Ensue

I'm doing a compy swap for Miss Chaos, which means taking her TempoCompy(tm) to Adorable's, making sure her old compy works, and then taking the old compy home and leaving Adorable with the TempoCompy. Which is now the fam's TempoCompy. For all the assorted temporary computer needs. Huzzah.

Which leaves Mayhem baking the second batch of bread and doing... experiments with it. Fun. I'll find out how that went when I get home. Either way, we eat the results.

Friday, Bread and De-YouTubing

In between bread and icing my ankle, as well as the offerings as per usual, I am removing myself from TubeTube and setting up other things.

I'll be shifting all my TubeTube content to my Peertube. Except for the story videos, as they're already in my Peertube. My miscellany channel will get my music videos and attempt at Minecraft let's plays.

In the end, all that will be left is a (hopefully) brief video explaining why I'm shutting up shop.

Thursday, Bread and Nonsense

We're down to one loaf, so I'm beginning the three day journey to make four more loafs. The good news being that a batch lasts a week. Slightly longer than a week. The dubiously good news being that, because of my grinchy ankle, I can actually be home to do all of it.
