Challenge #03572-I283: A Very Special Remedial Education

A special school. This was built for the families of those who had committed crimes against the very people the "Noble" lords and ladies were supposed to protect. The young, the innocents, the guiltless, all of these were gathered, even if they were almost adults, brought to the school, and taught a new way to live. The lords and ladies that committed the crimes, THEY would face punishment. The rest? They would be given a chance to break that terrible cycle. -- Lessons

It was one of the more heavy-handed reforms introduced by the Demon King, aka the Thrice-Sworn King, aka the Crowned Assassin, aka Kormwind Arachis Felbourne Whitekeep, ninth of the name. Kosh to all of his friends. He had conquered Lithonesse just to make it.

It was a dull grey fortification full of dull grey aesthetics, and a general implication that this was a prison. You might get out if your behaviour was good enough. It was guarded by stern soldiers and populated by a special kind of person.

King Kormwind of Whitekeep had sworn three times to protect the innocent. This was how he was to guarantee that.

I'm running out of stuff to share because I am devoting my time to other things.

The other things:

  • Summarising Adapting
  • Individuating chapters of A Devil's Tale
  • Dressing chambers for my players to Dragon in
  • Tagging past tales for the app that really needs to get out there

Each of these takes more effort than you might think. Lots of mental effort, reading, and in some cases, jiggery-pokery.

Challenge #03571-I282: An Inevitable Change

There are many gods for darkness, many for balance, but the ones of light sometimes can seem fewer, far between. Living gods even less. Poor Wraithvine has the equivalent of an "infant god" on hir hands. Now ze has to protect against those that covet this power, will kill for it, until the new temple is built strong enough for the new god to be settled in, and truly get to work.

Long Monday, Potential Shenanigans

Something in the living room is humming, the shelf for my record player is still in its wrapping, there's loads to do to make sure Capt. S' old place is orderly for the next step, MUM is still unfucking and hoping it doesn't flood again.

Sunday, Game Night & Unfucking Stuff

Beloved and I have a mutual way to monitor our spending, so that's a step on the long road towards fiscal stability.

Like - getting books ready for publishers. And making my firkin APP ready for shipping out to the app stores. And individuating chapters for Mum's ease of access and thereby editorial input.

Saturday, Catching up, and Blobbing

We have bade a final farewell to Capt. S yesterday. Thanks to that and some close calls on the road; I am frayed, worn out, and feeling very much like a sad lump of blob that's washed up on the tide-mark of life.
