Thursday, A Day of Rest

We have been splurging Beloved's bonus and she has announced that she wants us to be equals in all things. Which means I get nice stuff when she gets nice stuff. I will no longer be able to sublimate my needs and go without for the sake of others.

Which is good for me in the long term. I shall be mildly scandalised by this for at least a year. I bet.

I have a new laptop to replace the old one, and I shall be getting gradually used to its quirks starting today. Huzzah.

Today, I get back to my regular horseshit. Building dungeons, building a world. I already have a nominee, the Haassisha. Lizard folk and, in at least one case, sneople (snake people). And then writing some more of A Devil's Tale between commenting on the Foundry's entries for the prompt, It's the Little Things. Or, as I prefer to call it, sharing some love.

And very soon, I begin all that nonsense. Huzzah.

I am spending ALL day at home today. After running around and doing fetch quests or having a frenzy of bonus spending with Beloved for six days out of the week... I am glad to put my feet up for a change.

Beloved and I have made the promise to acknowledge each others' efforts more often. This will help us feel better about making that effort in the first place.

Onwards to some of those efforts.

Wednesday, I'm Very Tired

Long Monday was longer than it had to be. It was a good thing I slept through most of Tuesday because our anniversary date night went minutes into the next morning, including a long walk in the sweltering evening because we were unable to directly access my car.

My knees hurt. I have chub rub. Yet I would not change very much about the evening. Maybe where I firkin parked. That's about it.

We had some excellent foods and watched an amusingly

Tuesday, Anniversary Gifts

Today is our Silver Anniversary! HUZZAH! And I already have the best gift in the world...

My Beloved is back home!

Oh it is such a relief. She has new meds prescribed to her by the doctors [since you were worried about that, Mum] and a schedule of check-ups and experts to make sure those meds are doing what they should be doing.

As said in previous blogs, one of her diabetes medications didn't work too great with being on Keto. The

Long Monday, and an extended quest

I have been awake since 10PM last night, I have tasks and errands that will keep me awake for most of the day, belike.

All to help my Beloved have a better stay in hospital.

And when I'm done there, I need to go get some cream because we're nearly out. Fingers crossed, they won't be sending Miss Chaos home early because weather.

...you watch. I've spoken it into existence. It will happen.

Blargh.

I can only try my best. It's all

Sunday, Madness Day

Beloved is improving from the worst she was suffering. Yay. I did have to run a mission of mercy for her so she could have peak comfort in the temple of misery.

I may or may not be going back today. If Beloved does not stop me, I am GOING.

The good news is that she's getting better. The medication that caused all the problems is now off her health regime. So no more return visits for that. Huzzah.

I have been

Saturday, Feast Day, Health Update

For those of you following the generic soap opera that is my life... it turns out that Beloved's diabetes medication and the Keto lifestyle do not mix.

We're going to have to make sure she has carbs enough to deal with the meds. Or get off the meds and stay on the keto. Whichever is best for her.

We know what it is. Great. We know why it is. Fantastic. I currently have no idea how long it's going to take to

Friday, Disaster

Remember Beloved's crook tum? Turns out she's been throwing up what looks like blood for three days.

FUN.

We tried calling 13SICK, no medics available. Tried booking at the local quack - two appointments immediately, and the plague protocols meant we'd have to ring in. By which time the two remaining appointments would be GONE.

...hi ho hi ho, off to the hospital we had to go...

The hospital is currently under rennos. So first we had to locate the dang carpark.

Thursday, proposal, and shenanigans

I do not have much time this morning so I make an effort to be quick.

Bullet points:

  • Re-proposed to Beloved as part of the pre-anniversary celebrations
  • Beloved has a tummy bug. Not related
  • Mayhem has a job interview
  • I'm trying to build the Box of House as a base for my players
  • I still want to have merch but I have little in the way of time today because of the above
  • If I don't hurry, I won't get my story

Wednesday, Wordpress and Anniversary

Beloved and I will be celebrating our Silver Anniversary real soon now. Methinks today's date will be all about buying each other something silver. She's worth it, I know that.

For the rest of today, I am trying to gather peeps from the D&D game to help design the Box of House.

A brief explain:

  • Players got hold of an item called a "Folding Boat", this got quickly nicknamed "the box of boat" in game.
  • This INSTANTLY gave them the

Tuesday, Patreon, and mor floods

The school's still closed, and so are a lot of roads. If I was in charge of the country, I'd have as many road repair crews as possible out there and fixing all the potholes that have emerged thanks to the rain. BUT I'm not in charge. More's the pity.

Today on Patreon: More chapters of Kingdom of Sand trickle down to the $1 tier, I have another page of information for my highest donors in regards to Alfarell, the world I'm

Monday, the long one

There's cloudy skies, intermittent rain, shitty internet, and a potential Tale Foundry reading depending on whether or not the connection stays.

I already had TaleSpire brown out on my during a game.

Fortunately, they were playing pranks on each other and creating incendiary devices. Inter-player shenanigans is fun.

There were lots of laughs.

There may be many more, because my fellow Taleoids have all the ability to stay on track of a wobbly shopping cart. I shall hold out for that, today.

Sunday, Streams and Silliness

Toasty didn't stream this week, so I've had a less sleep-deprivation-charged morning. It's still raining, so my stream may have massive lag. It may also be nonexistent. Rest assured, I will be recording in situ, so I shall upload later when the weather is a little less touchy.

The weather bureau says the rain will stop today. I currently have doubts about that.

They weren't messing around when they described Australia as a land of "droughts and flooding rains".

MeMum's house is

Saturday, Feast day PLNs

It's raining. Still. I got myself good and soaked in the process of cleaning the catio, yesterday. There I have zero plans to even glimpse towards the outside. I shall be streaming in my pajambles.

I stream in my pajambles on weekends anyway. No great deal.

I have perfected the art of the keto powder. Huzzah. The instructions on the container call for two hundred millilitres of liquid. Here's how I win at it:

  • 100 ml hot water
  • ~30 ml coconut milk

Friday, Rain and nonsense

March is looming, which means nobody will be wearing masks. Which means that the next plague variant will be going far and wide and murdering people before it gets detected.

Either the Rona becomes more domestic, just like the 1918 influenza... or it gets worse and bites capitalism on the bum. So long as the money can flow, capitalism just don't care -_-

I am a cynical B.

My PLNs today are: Furnishing the dungeon and MAYBE making a start on

Thursday, Continuing Shenanigans

I finished creating the "north" bank of level four, so now I must head ever onwards and make the "south" bank. Yay. At least I have a process now.

But that doesn't stop Void Trimming from being dull as hell and eventual wrist torture. I know my limits there and stick to them.

Void Trimming: Deleting all the floor tiles that are not real floor so my players don't spend a lifetime trying to get into "the secret room".

I know my
