Wednesday, Wordpress and Anniversary

Beloved and I will be celebrating our Silver Anniversary real soon now. Methinks today's date will be all about buying each other something silver. She's worth it, I know that.

For the rest of today, I am trying to gather peeps from the D&D game to help design the Box of House.

A brief explain:

  • Players got hold of an item called a "Folding Boat", this got quickly nicknamed "the box of boat" in game.
  • This INSTANTLY gave them the idea of a "Folding House". A portable shelter they could use for long rests and planning stuff or just... being a base.
  • In a move that shocked nobody, we're all calling it "the Box of House".

I cribbed the flavour text directly from the Folding Boat and just edited in House Properties. Like an automatic kitchen. Because a kitchen makes a house a house.

I also have to write a thing for Wordpress today. It will likely be all about my negligible relationship with time.

Tuesday, Patreon, and mor floods

The school's still closed, and so are a lot of roads. If I was in charge of the country, I'd have as many road repair crews as possible out there and fixing all the potholes that have emerged thanks to the rain. BUT I'm not in charge. More's the pity.

Monday, the long one

There's cloudy skies, intermittent rain, shitty internet, and a potential Tale Foundry reading depending on whether or not the connection stays.

I already had TaleSpire brown out on my during a game.

Fortunately, they were playing pranks on each other and creating incendiary devices. Inter-player shenanigans is fun.

There were lots of laughs.

There may be many more, because my fellow Taleoids have all the ability to stay on track of a wobbly shopping cart. I shall hold out for that, today.

Sunday, Streams and Silliness

Toasty didn't stream this week, so I've had a less sleep-deprivation-charged morning. It's still raining, so my stream may have massive lag. It may also be nonexistent. Rest assured, I will be recording in situ, so I shall upload later when the weather is a little less touchy.

The weather bureau says the rain will stop today. I currently have doubts about that.

Saturday, Feast day PLNs

It's raining. Still. I got myself good and soaked in the process of cleaning the catio, yesterday. There I have zero plans to even glimpse towards the outside. I shall be streaming in my pajambles.

I stream in my pajambles on weekends anyway. No great deal.

I have perfected the art of the keto powder. Huzzah. The instructions on the container call for two hundred millilitres of liquid. Here's how I win at it:

Friday, Rain and nonsense

March is looming, which means nobody will be wearing masks. Which means that the next plague variant will be going far and wide and murdering people before it gets detected.

Thursday, Continuing Shenanigans

I finished creating the "north" bank of level four, so now I must head ever onwards and make the "south" bank. Yay. At least I have a process now.

But that doesn't stop Void Trimming from being dull as hell and eventual wrist torture. I know my limits there and stick to them.

Long Monday, Beware of Derp

It's been a fun game. The Warlock is learning that they can't use summons to build an army.

I don't have much planned and even less expectations. Long Monday makes for a very tired 'Nutter. I will be taking a nap at some point when the coffee and anxiety wears off.

Sunday, so tired

I have been irrevocably awake since 9PM last night. I do not expect much out of myself for the remainder of today.

Since tomorrow is Long Monday, I do not expect much out of myself then, either.

I did, however, get a whole chase scene down between my romantic interests in A Devil's Tale so I didn't waste my extra time.

It's a feast day, and I'm already into the stroopwafels. I have bread planned for today and keeping my hair dye off of my hands is a S-T-R-U-G-G-L-E.

So my news feed this morning has an Anti-Vaxxer trying to open a PLANE DOOR in the middle of a firkin flight. Apparently this numpty wanted people to record him going off about vaccine mandates.

Flying.

SHIT!

The good news is that airline has banned him for life and he may yet end up on a no-fly list. Sucks to be him I guess.

Thursday, In the Wars

Those of you who follow this blog regularly know that I gave myself a papercut in my sleep. Without any paper present. Yesterday afternoon, I hurt myself more than a little extra.

In the act of getting the mail, I stood on a pile of cut grass that had gone rotten. Said grass slid out from underneath me. I went down like a sack of spuds and landed hand first on a concrete stair riser immediately behind me.
