Monday, Day 1, Busy Week Ahead

Still seven active cases, and I am eagerly awaiting the moment when that number goes down. An event which may never happen if people keep trying to come in here from plague countries.

So here's the PLN for this week

  • Monday - House unfuckening and the usual writing biz, getting Miss Chaos pointed in the right direction for another weeks' routine. Also, there's a thing on at Chaos' School about Positive Behaviour Learning in the afternoon
  • Tuesday - Shrink time! Still bonkers but I have a lot of bile to vent about Repugnican cowardice and immorality [see news below] and maybe some anguish about Tech Support for the Technologically Terrified. Also Patreon Day
  • Wednesday - since my "white adjacent" bread was such a hit, I'm making two more loafs to see how they freeze. Also Wordpress Day
  • Thursday - finally a day to chill. Ish. This will be the day that absolutely everything goes tits up and I will have the most backwards day of them all
  • Friday - the final 1K after this weeks' 500 words per diem so I can make 3K per week. PLNs to have a day or two to myself will implode for sure

It's just the way it is. I know it. Any day I look forward to chill time during a hectic week, I never have a chill time beyond "more sleeping than usual". Whee.

Sunday, Day 0, Heart-shaped Chocolate Day

Seven total cases, with the newest two coming in from overseas and isolated in quarantine. It's the day to share sweet treats, so I stayed on the Keto wagon yesterday so I could indulge today.

I initially pln'd to get some hours of sleep, but MeMum had a panic attack regarding her new phone and what it was doing at the time. So I haven't had much sleep and will probably nap through 90% of Valentine's Day.

Saturday, Day 1, PLNs

Today's the day I usually have a good old slob-off and a carb feast. Not this time. Tomorrow being heart-shaped chocolate day, and MeMum needing some technical assistance and a new phone. Involving the new phone. And sundry other errands in the process.

Friday, Day 0, Bread

If I hadn't been irrevocably awake at 1AM, I would not be trying this. But yes, I am making bread with my new stoneground Lauke brand flour which is like the second-healthiest bread I could possibly make. Yay.

The fam wants white bread. I can make it today, thanks to the head start involved in being awake at F-off AM. It's already at the autolysis stage, so I should be baking by the evening. Yay.

Wednesday, Day 1, Shenanigans

We're finally doing our tax nonsense so we can fill out the paperwork so Mayhem can get the help he needs to get a job and finally pay for things. [That lay in the house that Jack built] Puffpuff... Pantpant... I'm making sure I have my financial statements prepped. I don't believe anything's been overlooked.

Two new cases send the total of actives to seven. Dangit. They're from overseas and detected in quarantine, so all is going moderately well. Yay?

We're back up to six active cases. Bleh. Once again a foreign import and in quarantine. The system we have is working.

Sunday, Day 0, SLOTH 2

Another case from outside, but the active case count holds stable at 5. Sigh. The sooner the vaccine stops the disease from being a hazard, the better. Fingers crossed it works against the UK, African, and Californian variants.

Otherwise we will have MORE years of living under rocks and whatnot. BLARGH.

Nothing big planned for today. I might put aside global domination to terrify villagers today. Depends on what sleep I can capture.

Holding stable at seven active cases. Keeping an eye on the nonsense. Because seeing another Day 12 is my fondest dream. I have gone out without a mask at freaking last, but I'm still doing the social distancing and hand sanitiser when available, and still not lingering very long in the general emporia.

I woke up at Fuckoff AM again. Bleh. So I tried the brushes I got yesterday. I did practice on the paper towel like I said earlier. On the paper towel - lovely fine line and legible text. On the artisinal paper - BLOB MONSTER.

Sunday, Day1, Slugfest

I did all four loafs, yesterday. Three butts between two of them. I didn't check them all. They should be sliced, packed, and hoarded before I have a chance to do a butt count.
