Thursday, Day 0, Scam Day

One new case, an import. Fifteen total cases and thirteen in hospital.

Today, I have to remember another scam, and I don't think I ever got onto the whole Microsoft Refund thing that's still going around. I think I almost fell for a refund scam, but again I refused to play along because it involved logging into a website.

In the news:

  • Man dies of heart attack after waiting more than an entire day to see a doctor. This happened in Queensland
  • Crypto "crashes" overnight. It's still worth a lot
  • Cop saves an infant from drowning
  • Famous rock formation has fallen into the ocean
  • Biden ramps up the pressure towards Hamas and Gaza
  • Diversity win - the next bachelorette is Bi
  • Thousands of vaccines burned because public reluctance. Thanks, antivaxxers
  • Muppet lashes out at criminal investigations against him
  • Soon you'll be paid in cryptocoin! Yay...
  • Havana Syndrome hit the White House last year, apparently

The universe is a big place. There's plenty of areas that haven't heard about the inherent dangers of Deathworlders in general and Humans in particular. Therefore, it's understandable that the same mistake can happen in several different places during several different time periods.

My normal routine is on the road this morning. I shall be working on the lappy as I go a-roaming. My shrink is in for some edutainment today.

Monday, Day 0, Plots and PLNs

One new case today, an import. Thirteen total cases. Twelve in hospital. Pretty much the same statistics as yesterday. Stable is better than regression.

Today's pln involves cleaning up party mess because Miss Chaos turned 16 on Sunday. Lots of unsuitable food lying around. Including a big ol' platter of sushi.

Saturday, Day 2, PLNs

No new cases, leaving thirteen active cases, all of which are in hospital. I now have my hooks into a tradie and the deal goeth thusly:

  1. Acquire the materials
  2. Including the taps and stuff
  3. Call the dude and arrange things thereafter

Fifty bucks an hour, and it should only take a couple of those. Fingers crossed, but I have enough stowed away in case of the fuckup factor.

Friday, Day 1, Impending Birthmas

Three new cases, all imports. Eighteen total, with fourteen in hospital. Given the way the numbers have been going, I'm betting that's four people in recovery in the quarantine hotels.
