Challenge #04718-L334: Haunting Recall

An older elf, though far from elderly, spent their days deep in wine and dandelion. Their nights in tears and regret. They had done so many terrible things they were unable to forgive themselves for. The humans asked Wraithvine to help. This elder had only been a child when this all happened, they didn't deserve this kind of sorrow. -- Anon Guest

The Xenophobia Wars were not one war, as evidenced by the plural. They were not one event, nor between one set of disparate people. They were in different countries, in different years, some overlapping. And most between Elves and everyone else, at least before the Humans got started in trying to match that score.

Many had risen to power based on the work of those they held in chains, and that was largely recognised as a bad thing when those who were chained broke free.

The first thing the liberated did was seek revenge against their former captors. Often leading to more wars in the process. The former masters were always shocked at that, surprised at what they imagined to be audacity. Well. Most of them did.

Sunday, Stream Shenanigans

The Archive is not streaming this week. The Promptcast is. Meanwhile, I'm allegedly working on my main offerings.

I shall endeavour to have some play time today. Rather than diving wholesale into shiny and spicy fanfic. I have no idea how well that's going to work, though.

The fanfic is fun... but not play

In the FuckMyLife Files, the stand mixer that has done excellent service since my smols were SMOL... has decided to give up the ghost. So my future travels

Challenge #04717-L333: Sweet Justice

One of the waitstaff, technically they were still just a trainee at the Drunken Horns, when the adventurers returned a few nights later to, once again, enjoy a party, yes they DID make reservations first, asked softly. "So.. what happened to the watchmen bullies?"

Saturday, Reserved Fun Hours?

I'm juggling bread, icing my ankle, and the usual story stuff, today.

And one side project is very shiny and distracting.

BUT I also hope to have a few hours at the end of the day to meddle around in a long-format game. Either Sexy Vampire Game or Hideo Kojima's Pizza Delivery Interactive Movie.

I dunno.

I'll see what I can do whilst at the mercy of various timers.

Challenge #04716-L332: The Devil in the Rain

"Please... tell me the story of one of the most difficult guests who had found this place to rest?"

~"Oh that would be Kormwind Arachis Felbourne Whitekeep, ninth of his name. Poor paranoid soul. Justifiably so. He'd been poisoned in a place he believed himself safe and did not handle the betrayal very well..." Rezzie furnished Wraithvine with a tankard of light cider and settled one of herselves nearby to relay the story of taking in a storm-bedraggled Hellkin with the disposition

Friday, Dramathon

Today's off to a fantastic beginning. My mentee decided to post after asking for help and not waiting for it. My mum's blacked out and dreading the heatwave. Miss CHAOS cooked up a week's worth of mince in two goes and let it rot, so I have to replace that shit.

...and I have a doctor's appointment today.

In a few minutes, actually.

So if I'm off the radar for the rest of the day, you know I had to go rescue

Challenge #04715-L331: Lossless Operation

Oakroot showed them the place where he came from. A place where kids were all but farmed out, or tossed out of thought of as worthless. The ones who owned that place... disappeared. The adventurers had their base of operations now, and lots of new sons and daughters to help. The first time the sound of honest laughter from a child was heard, some in the party wept, for they were healing.

Thursday, Physio and Mor Shopping

It was nasty, yesterday, and after getting so far, I decided to stay home instead of dropping off Miss Chaos and soldiering on. I have physio today, so that's an excuse to continue the Leyland's Tour and get all the things we need to keep the house going.

It promises to be just as nasty today, alas. But we still need stuff and things.

I've not been feeling the video production of late. Progress is happening slowly, there. I might have something

Challenge #04714-L330: A Simple Misunderstanding

The dragon had so much gold in their cave that their hoard, built up over many generations, had gotten way out of hand. So they began to melt the gold into jewelry, though that did tarnish it. But it was not to give to the rich. Each piece was carefully crafted and handed out to poor travelers in the forms of bracelets or necklaces. And in each one a dragon's blessing. Vicious animals, and cruel opportunists, would feel the need to be.

Wednesday, Shopping and Other PLNs

We're almost out of eggs. We're certainly out of bacon. I need flour and things because the kids are tearing through my bread.

So that's part of today's agenda.

I have to think up what I'm ranting about today.

I'm reviewing Archive tales before the time comes to launch on the Leyland's tour. Just so I can get my points in to be sure I have a chance to get read.

And I'm keeping track of my words now to see how

Challenge #04713-L329: Unseen Miracles

A farmer asks Wraithvine and Birbrid to come fishing with him. He needs a few more hands to pull in the nets as he's stocking up for winter. Crops are almost harvested, and he'd need help with that as well. He'd usually have help from his sons, but many have caught very bad colds, and the season for snows is fast approaching. -- Anon Guest

Tuesday, Patreon and Writing PLNs

I did my video prep before commencing, and I already did some 1AM writing because I have once again fucked up my sleep schedule.

At least I got a chapter finished. Twenty-six chapters to go.

I got some things to share with my Patrons, yay.

But first, I need to make one more thing to entertain my Patrons with, and that shall be the Podcast prompt. Since I still can't fucking figure out the Archive prompt. There's still time. I will get

Jay and Sunshine looked upon the shocked soldier who had made their first kill on the battlefield.

Monday, Shrink Day and Other Things(?)

I have now signed on to a word count tracker, so every word I put down that isn't chat between pals is going to get counted.

I have no idea if there's going to be a read-in today. We have three weeks to work on the prompt in the Archive and I still have no clue what I'm doing with it.

I will either get an idea or not. I can hope that I do.

In the meantime, I have

Challenge #04711-L327: Patience of the Doctor

They called me freak and fled. I realized, it was not prejudice, it was fear. They constantly had bloody noses, and not from being struck. I had no choice, I gently sedated them and checked them. It's good I did, they were not long for this world. Now, they will be able to grow up into an adult. -- Anon Guest
