Wednesday, Date Night, no current PLN

I'm going to place and do thing with my love tonight, but I have no idea which place or what thing. Nevertheless, I have my Torture Shoes(tm) on for whatever may happen.

I'm sure we'll figure something out in due course, but it will probably be involving the Jacka's iced caffeine with bursties in there.

It's not often I get my hands on sugar, you know.

I'm kind of running out of new things to experience, or ones that are easily accessible.

As I write this, I am waiting for the new pain meds to kick in. They're effective, but they're slow. So I'm doing my nonsense and hoping for the best.

Tuesday, Patreon and Cyclone Headache

My head does not like me today. I was up at 1 in the morning because PAIN.

I need to make an appointment to get a prescription for the super painkillers since I'm out. Meanwhile, I make do with ibuprofen and paracetamol.

We got ourselves some crowded days ahead, so that time window is currently eluding me.

Tale Foundry is doing its thing. I just finished making a lot of maps, and cussing about DungeonDraft crashing like a bitch.

Lots of Frustrate, this morning.

Beloved is coming home sometime today, so if I am streaming when she does, I may be understandably distracted.

I also have a loud as FUCK keyboard that is going to be a lot of tikkatakka noise on my stream. Sorry to the ASMR enthusiasts who may tune in.

Saturday, Parkrun and Torture Shoes

Miss Chaos was my only company today. Because the other lovelies were off to Mt Tambourine for other shenanigans. And because I ran out of money, Miss Chaos was in charge.

Also, because of the bone spurs on my feet, I was a little more in pain than normal.

Now I need the Torture shoes and my feet still firkin hurt.

Friday, Ongoing PLNs

Beloved is off on adventures that include a journey far afield. Which means that I may be doing parkrun tomorrow all on my only. It's a possibility that Miss Chaos may not wish to do the thing tomorrow morning.

So far, bribing her with hot chocolate and brunch afterwards seems to be working.

Wish it'd work on Mayhem. His problem is the covered shoe requirement. My lad has wide feet, and it's difficult to get a fit that doesn't get at him

I have been making minimal progress this week because distractions [aka Dwarf Fortress] and there's something that makes me wish to mess around with shit rather than create.

I think I need to sit somewhere and be bored for a while.

Saturday, Parkrun, Bikkie, and Game Night

I didn't do the Bikkie yesterday because I was offski with the family tech support. So I shall be working on that, later today.

For now, I rest my feet and prepare my offerings for my lovely readers.

Miss Chaos managed to do the whole 5K walk today, so now she's in the system and may even persist in what parkrunners refer to as "the cult".

Friday, Shenanigans Afoot

I managed to wrangle a day for my Beloved to go visit MeMum and thereby sort out some tech issues that I could not unfuck on my own.

The problem with this is that it's also the day that Mum's offski to do shopping thanks to an Elderly Care Transit System.

Beloved is home again tonight and it shall be part of my plans to pick her up and then take her out. Powers only know what else I am doing in the evening. Besides cuddling, I mean.

Yesterday was a marathon.

  • Load the car with the full orange bags ready for a cans run
  • Get ready for the day, including Torture Shoes for the betterment of my train wreck body

  • Take off for a long, long drive to the cans place
  • Two trips with the trolley to cash in all the cans, come up $20 shorter than normal because someone didn't crush their containers
