Sunday, Solutions!

The epic saga of the Sound System is done! With the purchase of a new amp, and some other incidental accessories, we have a working record player! Yay!

We also have a working casette player, but all my old tapes may have become warped since the last time I put them down. Sigh.

At least vinyl firkin lasts.

Tale Foundry is on and I have already written and posted the story for the next week, so it's no shocker that everyone knows the prompt.

...and now I know why the Foundry Discord wasn't looking for prompts this week.

I am taking one more day off of my summarising duties because Wet Weather and Sunday. Tomorrow, at my lowest expectations, I shall be looking at creating a themes and tropes thing in 2K words. Blargh.

Now that I only have to worry about little things, it's a lot more relaxing around here. I might even get to other stuff I've waysided. Who can say?

OR I might just fart around and enjoy my life.

I have some little edits to do in A Devil's Tale because I accidentally slipped a meme into my narrative. Woops.

And then there's Tale Foundry, which is running right now. After that is done, I do my stream. Then I get on with other stuff.

Including working out a filing system for all my firkin vinyl.

Saturday, Unriddling Continueth

So the record player thing is turning into a bit of a saga. Whoops. Nothing is ever easy because snobs about audio stuff had to make things difficult.

The new power cord works, yay, but the speakers that should have been plug-and-play are incapable of anything more than a squeak. On one speaker instead of two.

We needed an amp.

Friday, Unfuckening and Unriddling

The record player is now in its proper place! Yay. Now the problem is that the power cord isn't powering the thing. Boo. It's a hellaciously expensive record player, so I doubt the whole thing has gone to Silicone Heaven.

It's probably the power cord. And if it isn't the power cord, then it's the power plug. We shall be doing some investigations when both of us are conscious.

Thursday, Rushed and Bamfoozled

I forgot about Wordpress Wednesday, yesterday. Caught up this morning with what it was likely to be anyway: another installation of the fanficcy version of A Devil's Tale. The pro version of which is going to be 111 chapters and is STILL nowhere near being finished.

I'm getting closer to individuating all the chapters for mum. I may change the folder name so it's more universal. And if the Master Document won't let me edit it any more, I can always write

Wednesday, Wordpress & Date Night

Beloved's plan for this evening is to Go Somewhere outside of our normal travels and see what we can see. It was my duty to pick out the place, so I chose one with a lot of parks and at least one eatery that wasn't Maccas.

I have no idea if this is going to be a majority of the day thing, or an evening thing. We shall see.

Tuesday, Patreon + Shrink

I think I shall be kind to myself today. There's a lot to tax my energies in spite of my best efforts.

As the title suggests, I'm chatting with my Shrink, today. There's also the Patreon posts to do, as well as the chambering, summarising, tagging, and individuation to do.

On the plus side, I now have the shelf I got for my birthday installed. Well. Stage One.

Sunday, Tale Foundry and Game Night

Tale Foundry has delayed to another day, so I'm filling in time until Stream O'Clock. Which means I might have time to resume some of my bullshit getting the entry done before the prompt is announced.

None of the folks who can share a game are able to play with me, so I shall be streaming more of the Cat Game. Yay.

Saturday, Catching up

The Gayening has commenced. We have some rainbow flag bunting strung up near the front door. Very tasteful. Almost discrete. Only those prone to being offended could take offense at it.

In the acquisition of such, I missed out on Catio cleaning and the Starter feeding. I will get on with that after the story is posted.

After the Catio and Bikkie stuff, I shall get on with summaries, chapter separation, chamber dressing, and fic tagging. Yay.

Friday, Unfuckening & Some Free Time?

Beloved was out later than I was awake, last night. Visits to relatives post-funeral, sorting things out, I will hear about it when she wakes up.

Today's her day at home so we may get some stuff done in house. Which will include the usual Catio cleanse. I shall attempt to get a dishwash underway as well.

I am attempting a day without coffee, since the extra cuppa pre-game didn't do very much for me. I'll see how far that goes.

Thursday, A Break?

Today's the day where I don't have output or sleep to worry about. I might have energy in the afternoon. Maybe.

Tuesday, Patreon & Stuff

I'm running out of stuff to share because I am devoting my time to other things.

The other things:

  • Summarising Adapting
  • Individuating chapters of A Devil's Tale
  • Dressing chambers for my players to Dragon in
  • Tagging past tales for the app that really needs to get out there

Each of these takes more effort than you might think. Lots of mental effort, reading, and in some cases, jiggery-pokery.

Long Monday, Potential Shenanigans

Something in the living room is humming, the shelf for my record player is still in its wrapping, there's loads to do to make sure Capt. S' old place is orderly for the next step, MUM is still unfucking and hoping it doesn't flood again.

Beloved has taken a well-earned day out with friendos [found a VERY nice jacket with a VERY heinous price tag :P And didn't get it. Whew] and may also be pretty much wrecked for later this morning.

Sunday, Game Night & Unfucking Stuff

Beloved and I have a mutual way to monitor our spending, so that's a step on the long road towards fiscal stability.

My other steps are taking longer.

Like - getting books ready for publishers. And making my firkin APP ready for shipping out to the app stores. And individuating chapters for Mum's ease of access and thereby editorial input.
