Sunday, Streaming and Stuff

The Archive is reading stories, the Promptcast is reading stories. I have to keep an ear out for diverse alarms because I am baking more bread today.

The new cool pack means that I can to ten minutes icing my ankle. Less time on distraction activities, more time for the other things. Theoretically.

I'll see how I go.

The Archive is about to commence. I shall be working on my prompts today, as well as the daily dosage of offerings.

My ability to procrastinate footnote checking knows no bounds...

Saturday, Bread, Aches, and Embuggerances

I have issues with my heel today. On the advice of my physio, I'm leaning on a broomstick as an ersatz hiking pole. All so I don't do more damage to my stupid knotted shoulder. So I have Miss Chaos making the next set of dough while I focus on baking the last batch of dough.

One of my prompts ["Problem Child"] has been elected next week's story prompt. I think I might make two tales out of it.

Yay.

My old

Friday, Supplies Expedition

I has moneys, and I need to spend it. Huzzah. We've gone through a whole bunch of supplies and we need other supplies to unfuck a few things.

Meanwhile, the bread has commenced. I'm enlisting the kids to help with the dough schedule.

I'll be taking off on that adventure shortly.

Story shall be happening after I return from my expensive Leyland's tour. Editing of my anthology will happen if I have the spoons after all of that related noise.

I will

Thursday, Physio and Maybe Shopping

We need supplies. We I need to make bread. We need to unclog the kitchen sink drain. I need to check the footnotes of the anthology and line shit up to get that thing out there.

I'll have to give it out for free. Nobody pays for it anyway.

My heel has been a literal pain in the anatomy of late. Even though I've been doing a few things to help strengthen it. My knees, on the other hand, were improving. As

Wednesday, Leyland's Tour Ahoy

So here's the PLN:

  • [X] I write this blog entry
  • [X] I wait for MeMum's email as proof of consciousness
  • [ ] I gear up, fuel up, and get my arse over there
  • [ ] We go on a tour of a lot of places
  • [ ] I do tech support
  • [ ] I get foods
  • [ ] And maybe other stuff
  • [ ] I go home
  • [ ] I make my offerings (if not too blasted by the above)

If I am too frazzled when I get home, there shall be catching up tomorrow.

And

Tuesday, Patreon and Embuggerance

My archive site is chucking a wobbler at the moment. I can catch up on archiving stuff, but it is promising to be a pain in the butt. Hopefully it gets unfucked soon.

I have to check my stuff, but I'm pretty sure there's some to share with my Patrons.

Tomorrow... I may yet be late putting anything up because I'm due to take MeMum out on errands and then do some tech support. Huzzah.

The Promptcast hopes to put the second

Monday, Reads, Streams, and Stories

Twenty-one chapters remain to be written in order to declare a completion of A Devil's Tale. Then I plug it all into the Beta Reads section and share with my throng. And I have to poke everyone who has their hands on it.

Sigh. Not the fun part.

Today, after writing the story of the day, I shall delve into last year's anthology and start checking titles.

Gotta get that thing out before February. I already let one week sail by because

Saturday, Pain Really Hurts

The shopping trip made my ankle really, really angry, so I'm taking more of a break for that sore and sorry portion of myself.

Sometimes, it's difficult to tell whether my heel or my ankle causing issues, I just limp all over the place. Or need my cane and cause worse knots in my firkin shoulder.

I need my cane today.

So instead of going on a Leyland's Tour with MeMum, I'll be staying in and doing the writing and the icing

Friday, Money Enough so Shopping

Ah, the sweet relief of payday. Oh, the bitter sorrow of an overflowing shopping list. It's always the way. You get stuff queuing up to spend your money before you get it.

Bleh.

The good news is that I have the first very rough form-generated query letters for all of the five books I'm plotting to pitch.

15 minutes in the morning on ADT gets me a little ahead by degrees. I should be finished with a chapter before Monday, all being

Thursday, Pay???

The economy is up to shit. Last I heard of things, Beloved is job hunting with no other news to this day.

I am hoping to have income today. I have enough to cover the bills should things be that dire. I doubt they will be, but I have it there.

I know Beloved. She has a knack of finding a way to make things work. She'll either have a fantastic idea and go like a rocket, or find a golden deal

Wednesday, First Rant of the Year

I think I shall do a New Year's Boast. Mix in the things I aim to accomplish with 10000% horseshit that nobody can possibly get away with. The neat thing about a boast is nobody expects any of it to happen.

Which is a concept I'll have to explain in my OpEd Blog for the slow of mind. In excruciating detail.

Because some of my readers have failed reading comprehension and take everything I say literally, or figure that The Killer could

Tuesday, Patreon and Bread

We're down to our last loaf of bread so I shall be informing Miss Chaos that she's making the next batch. That will be happening later in the day. When she's conscious.

Meanwhile, I have Patreon stuff to post, a story to write, and an ankle to ice every two freaking hours.

And thanks to Trackbear, I now know that I've written almost 13K words for various creative works in less than a firkin week. I had NO IDEA I was that

Monday, Writer's Group Shenanigans

The Promptcast is racing toward one million communal words this year. We're already at two percent and the first week of January hasn't even passed.

We're a loquacious bunch, it seems.

And competitive.

We're racing each other to put words into works and it's astonishingly fun. Keeping an eye on the Archive just in case they decide to meet, too.

I may also plug the idea of a year's goal to the Archive and see if we can get some friendly competition

Sunday, Streams and Stuff

I had to beg off doing a query letter because backache, headache, and what eventually revealed itself to be a fever.

I'm making myself some super lazy ginger garlic chicken soup, just in case I have full-on Lurgi. The super lazy part is that I am using things I already have at home, and doing as little as possible in the prep department.

Hello slow cooker, my old friend.

An absolute blessing when you're out of spoons.

I'll get that going after
