Tuesday - Day Five

Good things have happened. Hilarious things have happened. Tension is still in the air and there is dancing in the street. Biden won, Muppet refuses to say anything about it, and what was meant to be a concession speech happened in a parking lot between a crematorium and a dildo store.

Sometimes, in my more paranoid moments, I wonder if the right-wing is purposefully appearing to be incompetent, so as to soften the image of their impact to the left. Sure, we all get a chuckle out of their voter fraud hotline and the aforementioned carpark, but it is it a smokescreen for the evil they do off camera?

That's a rant for another day, maybe. The wounds are still fresh right now.

I'm going to stick to fiction, and that goes for my Wordpress as well. It'll be A Chapter Of... and I still have some content from my unpublished novels that could go up there, or another one from Lust of the Demon Lord. I'll flip a coin.

Australia has a couple of new glider possums, aawww cute. Their habitat is under threat. Not so cute. Also the lack of trees in ever-spreading suburbia does not help the overall summer temperature impact. Shocker. If only these things could be solved the same way...

Monday - Day Four

The USA has overwhelmingly chosen to not have the Muppet in office. Of course the right wing is throwing a tantrum about it. At least ScoMo's willing to roll with the flow.

The internet is more or less sighing in relief. Maybe this will be the turning point where the world brings itself back from the brink.

Sunday - Day Three - Leyland's Tour!

Yesterday was almost complete shenanigans and most of it was spending too much money getting supplies. Thanks to the lack of community transmission, I actually felt bold enough to shop around rather than go on the most efficient path to obtain the thing.

The world is going crabonkers around me and here's why:

  • Rumours of Putin retiring because Parkinson's/Cancer/AIDs/Who knows have escaped because someone dropped a pre-written piece somewhere.

I'm making bread so that there's an oversupply and I will be free to nom on a household loaf whenever.

Saturday - Day Zero

Another case from overseas, and discovered in quarantine. So I'll be voting later today with FULL mask and gloves nonsense. Beloved will also be wearing a mask and gloves, because of the One Arsehole Theory:

Wednesday - Day Four

The Senate has confirmed a blatantly pro-life judge and "cruelty is the point" advocate for the supreme court, which is now 6-3 in favour of absolute evil. Two weeks before the election. They have all stated that they're going to let the Muppet do whatever he wants, throw out the postal votes, and ignore any tally that comes not-instantly after the polls close on the actual election day.
