I am going to work on the cover art for 2022's Year of Instants. First. After I do the daily tale.

I have stuff getting in the way of other stuff I need to do so wish me luck on that one. I know better than to ask questions with painful answers, so I am just hoping for the best and ready to roll with the worst.

And every time I think about getting the anthology out, I have to fight a bout of depression and I have NO IDEA WHY.

Best to do the thing and get it done. Teach my brain that it's not actually bad as I seem to think it is.

But first, the daily tale...

Smooth mornings!

Hooray, I have life figured out enough that the mornings move like a well-oiled machine. Now, if only I could do the same thing for myself.

Alone, I clog up with fascinating things until a half-hour task takes most of the firkin day. And then I complain about having zero time to fart around and play games.

Yoiks and Awaaaaaaayyy!

I got my first rejection, yesterday. The agent I sent a sample to, sent me a "thanks but no thanks" letter. I can't let that get to me, but at least I'm not set up to fail on my birthday.

And today, sometime between getting a heart-monitoring harness fitted, fetching a new battery (or more) for my sleep monitor, fetching the kids, arranging dinner, writing my book, etc.... I will fling another sample towards another agency and set my timer for potential

Lazy day, but with errands

I'm taking it easy, but I need to go out and fetch a few things because Mayhem's lurgi is going around and has hit me upside the head with a sinus full of mucous.

Bleh.

Seems to always be the way. I'm within grasping distance of accomplishing neatness, I go down in a heap and suffer. Despite my best efforts to do otherwise.

Owie owie ow ow ow...

There's a reason why my fanbot is one good sneeze away from falling apart. It's because I feel that way far too often for my own comfort and security.

For instance: This morning, I woke up with a grinched hip.

My right hip can move in all the ways it's supposed to, it's just that it's firkin uncomfortable to do so. Which means that, once again, I will not be going for my daily walk.

URGH!

So I just found out that Apple doesn’t like direct links to books sold through Smashwords. If I don’t fix it, they won’t stock my book.

I’ve already fixed it, by the way. And amended a typo that eluded me for like five edits.

I had to remove the links to the individual stories and add a link to my profile, which is apparently A-OK in Apple’s book. Not a big whoop,

A small dilemma (and an ask)

Firstly, apologies to everyone who’s been expecting a thing a day. I’ve been busy with pestillence, family and (again) waiting for someone who could help me to get their finger out of the metaphorical divot.
