Thursday, Meds Run

New script in hand, I shall be wending my way to getting more of what it takes to stay stable. Well. Relatively stable. But that can wait until the road trip to drop off Mayhem. More of a chapter will happen thanks to that wait. Yay.

Since I don't have to be anywhere else, I may actually have a chance to work on Pseuducku. Huzzah.

Miss Chaos now has two game creation programs and is in the midst of messing around and discovering things.

For a personal brain hack, I have managed to catastrophise the consequences of not doing my heel stretchies. If I fail to do them, they're going to stick a needle in my heel. Works a charm to make me remember to do the dang things.

If it's daft and it works, it's not that daft.

Wednesday, More Experts and Rant

I have a divided day because experts in the middle of the afternoon. I know what's going to wind up in my extended rant for today, but I do not know when I'll be able to finish and publish that thing.

I know I'll get at least a couple of sentences into my novel because waiting room. Yay.

Meanwhile, I'm doing what I can whilst I can. Including my stretchies.

Tuesday, Tech Support and Tired Bean

It's MeMum's birthday so she got free tech support - which included making her mouse pointer way more visible, showing her how to navigate her smart TV, and figuring out how to make DVD's work with that same setup.

Mission accomplished there.

Now I'm back home, I needs must focus on my offerings for the day. For tomorrow, I am back on the bullshit.

Looking forward to free time to work on other things, but I also need a lot of sleep.

Monday, Busy Week Ahead

Today, I have Physio. Tomorrow, I'm off to see MeMum for tech nonsense. Wednesday, I'm seeing different experts and so on.

Saturday, Parkrun and a Movie

I made it roughly a quarter of the way through parkrun before I needed my cane. And now it's my friend until I can walk without discomfort again. In the meantime, I am literally cooling my heels with an ice pack from the freezer.

It is my sincere friend when my heel feels like I have stepped on a thousand legos.

Friday, Wet Weather

It looks like the rain has set in. Dangit. I was really trying to be well enough to do parkrun this time around.

I have been in the wars. Achey breaky feet, hot and cold running rhinovirii, and the Sneezin' and Wheezin' Season that NEVER FIRKIN ENDS!

I still got the sniffoos, but I'm otherwise functioning as human for the meanwhile. So far, so good.

I need to make a phone call to arrange a prescription. I also need to talk to the GameMaker people about the new errors after the last fix.

Wednesday, Rant Due and Upcoming PLNs

Mayhem once again has Tuesdays off. It was a temporary thing, and has to be reset regularly. Honestly, the sooner Mayhem can drive himself there and back, the better for everyone.

Tuesday, Embuggerance to the PLN

Mayhem's scheduled to work today. It's his designated day off. So today, I have to schlep him all the way up there to talk to the boss about the schedule. Which may take less than an hour.

I still have to do shopping at some point.

Sunday, Bread and Lurgi

I needed extra rest this morning, so VTTRPG with the international maniacs had to be cancelled. I do feel bad about it, but I also need to get over this dang bug.

I have one loaf shaped while the oven pre-heats. Waiting on that last proof. I should have two lovely loaves cooling by dinnertime. I shall be making a sincere effort to see if the fix for GameMaker works and if not, I try the other angle.

Saturday, Lurgi Again

I was all set and ready to do parkrun today... Until about 7PM when my eyes spontaneously crunchified and my nose began running like a gorram tap.

Yes folks, I once again have Lurgi. Replete with the wonderful world of digestive issues. Yay. Not.

So today I am focussing on achieving bodily stability whilst also working on bread. Because I also need to make bread this weekend.

Friday, Physio and Fudging it

I might have two breakthroughs. Working at the Gamemaker issue from two sides. On one side, the web install and the community help, on the other - the Steam version and its virtual Windows drive.

Maybe approaching it from two directions will box the dang thing in and keep it still so I can work on it.

Thursday, Attempting to PLN

So once again, I've hit a wall in trying to make Pseuducku exist. I can't make the program I'm using to make it do one thing I need to do in order to test whether or not the thing I made works.

Sigh.

I tried asking for help in the community and... the community has no help for me.

My options at this point are:

  • Track down the dev working on the Linux version and bother them about it
