Wednesday, Wordpress, Crimbolio Shopping

It's raining, it's pouring, and my face says it's going to get worse because Cyclone Headache.

Yay.

We do have moneys but IDK if I'll be able to use any of it and my current assets are scant.

I'm also pondering the penning of a Wordpress entry about all the AI "art" that's popping up and how it's a novelty and not the end of creativity as we know it.

Yes, Taylor Swift is "writing" a movie with AI, and none of the people who did the work the AI was trained on are going to get paid. Yes, there are already arseholes out there praising AI art machines because they "don't have to pay anyone".

It's not going to lead to a golden age and we all know it. But here's my hot take: It's not going to kill art, either.

You'll see when I get there.

This is my last chance to do Crimbo shopping for gifts and I have to take it.

The next most difficult thing is figuring out what to get some people. A few of my loved ones are firkin hard to shop for.

Coming up with the Crimbo feast may have to be the baliwick of Beloved.

Gotta work together on that.

Tuesday, Patreon and Cans Run

YES! I am finally doing it! I am loading up my zippy little car and cashing in all the full bags of bottles and cans.

Two of those bags become profits for Miss Chaos because she put the work in on filling them.

When I come back from that running around, that's when I share the stuff I have to offer on Patreon.

Monday, Internet Fail

I had my internet connection bork out on me last night. Right in the middle of a stream. I gave up on reconnecting closer to the end of the game stream and went to bed.

Now that morning has broken, and the internet is back, I shall be streaming once all of my nonsense is organised.

Sunday, Game Night and Budgets

I figured that if I set a limit to my present-buying shenanigans, then it won't break the bank.

Not publishing my limits because fam reads this. I don't want to shame them just because we like to have expensive shit.

I have a quarter of the next map drawn, and I'm focussing on making critter counters for the eventual game. Huzzah.

Saturday, Parkrun & PLNs

Second complete parkrun. I get a milestone after about a year of these, so I shall see if I can make it that long.

There's another after TEN years, and I'm currently like haha good joke there mate.

We will be able to do Crimbolio shopping when we have money again, this coming Tuesday. THAT is when I shall go out into the wilderness and attempt to return with something cool for everyone I love.

Friday, Forgotten PLNs and Chaos

Not Miss Chaos, the generalised chaos that seems to go hand-in-hand with my life as I know it.

So it's natural that I forgot I was taking Pippi to get her shots. I also forgot that Beloved and I were getting our hair did today.

Mayhem refused to help me with the recycling, so I got Miss Chaos to do the same thing and will be paying her when all the work is done. Win for her.

Thursday, Scrombling PLNs

I have worked out that I am going to have to set up each map before my players play it. Huzzah. In the meantime, I can make sure there's counters for all the mobs in advance and do the reading ahead and all that nonsense. Huzzah.

So I am scrombling to make sure I have all the tokens. Which means that I can go on and start drawing the next level so this whole thing can maybe go faster.

Wednesday, Leyland's Tour & Wordpress

Today, the PLN includes taking Beloved to the train station so she can get to work. I am also taking Mayhem to the Dept of Main Roads so he can get his replacement license and then going to the bank so he can get a replacement bank card.

Tuesday, Patreon, Lining Things Up

Guy Councilman1 came by to see what the hell was up with the sullage system and I was able to float my idea for a permanent sullage garden. Turns out that those plns will involve different stuff to the things we already paid money for.

There's going to be a trench to dig and different pipes and different sprinklers and it's going to CO$T so part of getting that all together is going to be negotiating payment rates. Yaaaayyy...

Saturday, Parkrun First!

I did the whole 5K for the first time in ever! YAAAAAYYY!

I will probably regret tomorrow. Today, I am proud of myself.

I shall be streaming, and then joining my Beloved for a nap. We hadn't got enough sleep, last night so catching up is priority.

I want some sleep, but I also don't want to be streaming closer to tomorrow.

Friday, Day off?

Relax, I'm still doing my stream, but I really just want some fuckaround time for the rest of the day.

As for the tech support yesterday. It really was an object lesson in how miscommunication causes problems for everyone. I thought MeMum was confounded by bookmarks, and in a way, she was. Mum didn't know where to look when I was trying to describe what tabs were.

Thursday, Tech Support Speed Run!

I have PLNs to sort out MeMum's trouble with GoogDrive.

Which means that I do my stream, do the publish, and then haul arse to the other side of the big smoke to see what the fuck is up with GoogDrive on Mum's ancient lappy.

Since it's also raining, I will be taking the ultimate care on the roads. There's a lot of idiots out there still driving like it's dry. And also driving like everyone else out there offends them personally.
