Friday, Very Late Start

Beloved was not feeling very peachy keen this AM. Nasty cramps. Alas, an upgrade from the hot-water bottle is going to cost three figures and cost us a lot of time in waiting for the thing to arrive by post.

Bum.

I have called my dentist and reschedule my appointment because economical offsets. I have cleaned out the catio. I have yet to feed the Starters or create The Bikkie.

I'll be doing that after the stream.

Which should be happening very, very soon. Just as soon as I get this cat out of my face.

Thursday, Best-laid PLNs

I wuzgunna work on a summary of Beauties today. I wuzgunna tag another week of fics for the app. I wuzgunna ensure another fifty footnotes in the anthology.

Wednesday, Wordpress and PLNs

I stayed in bed with my Beloved for a little too long today, and wound up streaming at 10AM.

Whoops.

BUT I also didn't have the 10AM curse happening to me.

We did not alter anything, but the compy failed to slow to tar and attempt to die. Huzzah. I am not going to fault it at all for surviving and defeating the curse.

Monday, Public Holiday

It's the last day of rest before the return to normal shenanigans. The last day at home to chill and enjoy the chance to relax.

Saturday, New Year's Eve

I did my personal best 5K today. Kept up a good pace for most of it, too. Then, following brunch and cake, attempted to find a new keyboard/cover for my iPad Pro.

I got this thing in 2015.

Guess how often it's likely that the shops have a replacement?

Time to get one hand-crafted from Tanegashima.

Thursday, Workarounds

I have conquered the 10AM problem! At some point between 10AM and noon, my compy just decides it doesn't like working for some reason.

So, I wrap up my nonsense before or just after 10. Then go do something else on my lappy until it's literally after noon.

Then I get on with getting on with other stuff. I could plausibly tag fics on my lappy during this. I will probably end up writing an entire chapter of A Devil's Tale.

I spilled a bit of fizzy drink on my keyboard and the new one is a little on the temperamental side. It's not letting me do some things and writing with it promises to be a pain in the butt.

Tuesday, Patreon and Chill

I have bargained some time to do my output duties from Beloved. So it's in my best interests to do two quick ones and then race through the Patreon stuff as fast as I can manage.

I dropped off MeMum to her home and got home JUST before the roads filled up with migratory beachgoers. So I consider myself lucky to have done that when I did.

Saturday, Crimbo Eve

So. We're picking up a friendo to go to the only Parkrun open in the Brisbane-ish area on Crimbo Eve, this morning. Which means a launch from our place at 5:30 AM

Friday, the Crimbolening

It's the day before a MULTITUDE of shenanigans. So we have to finish unfucking the house, organising our nonsense.

Which means a lot of time offline.

Thursday, Continued Unfuckening and Game Night?

It's so close to Crimbo and the crunch is on. I didn't get around to de-messing the table. Did get around to wrapping all the presents with an incidental Help Me Rennie as the kids got their Crimbo gifts prepared.

For the record, I taught Miss Chaos what I know about wrapping presents. Then I helped Mayhem make chocolate from scratch. Mostly with the mise en place but also with strategy and reminding him that cooking utensils get hot -_-
