Monday, Shrink Day and Foundry

It's happened. I had someone compare my WIP to the Bible. As in, the Good Book is LIGHT READING compared to whatever the fuck I have going on.

I'm sure other writers have been told to tone it down in the same way.

And I am once more called out for torturing the boy.

Muahahahahaha...

I am proceeding apace with the summary of Beauties, the recording of ADT. I haven't touched Stencyl, last week so my messing around there before tomorrow will be minimal. At best.

I am a busy, busy bean who just wants to write saucy vampire fanfic.

I have THREE demons and their potential relationships for the future shenanigans. I need some toxic flower/plant names for some Archfey. Because that's the theme I have going for that. Alongside creative misspelling for such.

It's going to be a very interesting book four.

My "quick sanity project" is now looking like a firkin QUADRILOGY ffs. It might go to five or even more. WHO KNOWS ANYMORE?

Not fuckin' me. That's for sure.

Sunday, Day of Rest

Yesterday:

  1. Did Parkrun/brunch
  2. Got dressed up for a birthday party
  3. Worked at Adorable's place so I wouldn't get too deep into work at home and forget the party was on
  4. Went to the party
  5. Which went WAY late
  6. I did not get to bed until half-past 11 PM

So I had to cancel my streams.

Saturday, Parkrun, Democracy, and Social Shenanigans

We did the fitness thing this morning, and owing to stuff this afternoon, I am currently working on the mobile arrangement. We're wishing a friendo a merry birthmas [I think?] so we're going out for an evening of frivolity and fun.

Fortunately I was able to plan for this and, as the sole bean able to drive, arranged for myself and the spawn to have voted early. Now I have less concerns about whom I may be ferrying where. Yay.

Friday, Unfuckening and extra PLNs

I took the kids early voting this morning. Mostly because I will be roaming all over the countryside on voting day. We did homemade democracy sausage thereafter. Cheap bread and cheap sausage ftw.

Thursday, Game Night and Cuddles

I have my Beloved for another evening, this week. I am making myself either one or many dinners with the slow cooker. I've got some pork tongues slowly stewing with the following:

  • Probably about a litre of cheap white vinegar [I measured all this with my heart]
  • About 2 tbsp powdered ginger
  • A pinch of whole peppercorns
  • A generous pinch of salt
  • 5 whole cloves
  • About 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 granny smith apples, finely sliced
  • 2 litres of water

Beloved has therapy this morning, so I don't get to see her until this afternoon. I'm already dressed up fancy for the night.

IDK what we're doing since we're out of moneys. Quiet night in, mayhaps. But at least I look good for it.

It's been an expensive pay cycle, this time around. I feel guilty for not working harder to get my books ready for flicking at publishers. But I can only do so much at any given time.

We didn't have enough to play VTTRPG this morning, so Fiver and I played BG3 together. Much hilarity abounded.

Thursday, Maybe Game Night and CAKE!

I had cake for breakfast. If there's any left by then, I shall likely have cake with/for lunch and dinner as well.

The PLN today is more offerings, a night with VTTRPG and the rainbow crew. And snuggles and reads with Beloved.

I now have two fanfics in progress because firkin brain worms have me. My Patrons get to see those first.
