Tuesday, Day 0, Patreon PLNs

Plague news: Two new cases, both imports. I heard that anyone near Kippa-ring needs to get themselves tested because of one agro Knomira. Lovely. Thirty-six active cases, thirty-three in hospital and two in ICU.

I'm still not saying Queensland has a handle on things. Last time I said that, a Knomira escaped the net and spread the plague all over Brisvegas. I'm waiting for Doughnut Day to go at least halfway towards the full twenty before I declare that.

All the same, it's nice to see the numbers dwindling.

I have a new routine.

  1. Coffee and prep until 10 to 6AM
  2. Stream
  3. Post-stream nonsense including the advertising cycle, putting the story in my archive, and waiting for Chaos' bus
  4. During bus time, write my novel words
  5. Get back to anything left over after Chaos is off to school
  6. Alternate fun writing with TaleSpire until I am no longer motivated to footle around in either. Interspersed with YouTube, lunch, and Tumblr
  7. [Somewhere in the middle of all that] wait for Chaos' bus again with fun writing and correspondence on the agenda
  8. Winding down on the fun writing, TaleSpire, and footling about
  9. Turn off brain and watch TV until bedtime

I am definitely getting the hang of TaleSpire, including setting the build levels and clip-pasting areas to correct mistakes.

The way things are set up at the moment, if you need to move an entire area you just built, you select it, clip it, move it, and paste it.

There's other tricks, like using elevation mechanics to put things through other things and make them new things.

Plague News: 1 new case, an import. Thirty-nine total cases, thirty seven in hospital, two in the ICU.

The numbers are going down. All the community efforts to step on transmission are working.

And further, my Beloved has made bread.

Toasty had a day off today, so I got to sleep in until six AM. Wild. Considering how I conked out close to eight at night, that's a really long sleep.

I will for sure be making at least one full map from the campaign book today. Other than that, my day is my own to enjoy.

I blame myself for thinking we had a handle on this.

Stream done, house unfuckening due, plans to write 1K, and further plans to build dungeons and maps in TaleSpire. I did record a tutorial of sorts, but now I have doubts about sharing it with the world -_-

I think we might have a handle on things. Maybe.

Some of the restrictions and rules are just silly, but... They seem to be working.

I've figured out TaleSpire and no, I won't be able to make all of Whitekeep in it. At least not until they have all of the extant Wizards maps available for DM customisation.

Plague news: NO NEW CASES! Forty-five total active, forty-one of those are in hospital. OMG it's been forever and a week.

Queensland is planning to shut its borders to NSW again because the Delta variant is all over there. Best to be safe rather than sorry.

The sooner they can vaccinate everyone against all variants of the plague, the better.

Friday, Day 0, Unfuckening ho!

Plague news: Three new cases. Two local, one import. Forty-nine total cases, forty-four of those are in hospital.

I've fed the starters, fed the cats, and I shall soon be putting the bikkie on to cook. It was a quiet stream again, and that may change as soon as I have a schedule. People like having timetables.

Next week will be the big crunch. See if I can do it all and manage Miss Chaos' organisation towards school readiness. Fun.

Thursday, Day 0, Sleepless

Plague news: One new case, local transmission. Forty-nine total cases and forty-one are in hospital.

I've been awake since one-a-firkin-em this morning. I decided to use that time for a cooking experiment involving keto-friendly cheesecake. The cheesecake may be all fail, but it's the base I'm concerned about.

Basically, the base is runny nut butter thickened up with philly until it's mouldable like play-dough. If that works, then I can resume making cheesecake like normal.

Plague news: seven new cases, four local, three imports. Forty-seven active cases, thirty-eight in hospital. So a bunch of people are recovered? Maybe? I can hope.

My personal schedule is now adjusted. So now I bumbletumble about my morning nonsense, stream, and then write this thing. Streaming at 6AM is do-able, but only when I get up at 5.

I'll pay for it today, and get used to it tomorrow.

I have written some Tiefling tales and already done the Foundry tale.
