Thursday, Day 0, Keep rolling rolling rolling...

I made a phone call! I got the data! I've got things shifting about! WHEEEE!

There's four more cases, sixty-seven total, sixty-two of those are in hospital... and one in the ICU. Four people are relatively free.

Thanks to an unexpected hike in Bitcoin at a local level, I now have a LOT more than I need. I'm plotting to help some people out wherever and whenever I can. But I'm still siphoning off value from my Peakd account because the fuckup factor is alive and well and overdue to bite me on the bum.

Items on the Chaos Independence Scavenger Hunt:

I'm going to be giving Basic Adulting Lessons as part of the process. This, my dear child, is how you finegle red tape. How to keep your PINs known only unto you. How to keep your TFN secure. All that nonsense.

Tuesday, Day 0, Shrinky Shenanigans

Four new cases, today. Fifty-eight active cases. Fifty-four in hospital, two in ICU. That leaves only two who are spinning their wheels in quarantine. The artist formerly known as Spanish Prison Guard[TAFKASPG] has decided to knuckle down and actually do the work they promised me. I hope.

They've turned suddenly polite now that I don't have a lot of ready cash to siphon from my Peakd account. I remain suspicious.

Monday, Day 1, Busy Week Ahead

Still seven active cases, and I am eagerly awaiting the moment when that number goes down. An event which may never happen if people keep trying to come in here from plague countries.

We're finally doing our tax nonsense so we can fill out the paperwork so Mayhem can get the help he needs to get a job and finally pay for things. [That lay in the house that Jack built] Puffpuff... Monday, Day Two, Let's GO!

Today, I have a lot on my plate. Today, I am putting more words into KOSTSS. Today, I am unfuckening the house. Also today, I am getting hold of our financial moguls to attempt a tax sortening. On the PHONE.

I'm going to be blasted by four PM for sure.

IF I have the energy to do any arting, I will, but... I probably won't have the energy to art.

Miss Chaos goes to school today. I have to organise the potential sammich stuffings and put a note in the bag about said sammiches. I actually took a break to make sure that was done.

Wednesday, Day Zero, Wordpress

Fifteen active cases in total. All from overseas. All in quarantine. New South Wales is entering that twenty-eight day milestone of no in-community transmission. Which means Queensland can relax about travellers from NSW at long freaking last.

Victoria seems to be treating this seriously as well. Huzzah.

I woke up at one in this morning and I have a PTA thing involving Chaos' future path in life. She's good at making cryptids now, but IDK about doing a career out of that.

Good news - I have a decent amount of bread in the freezer. Bad news, it was a long and complicated process because I also had to take the cats to the vet and intercept unanticipated house visitors.

Monday - Day One

This is the week that I go duck hunting. I'm going to get those little quackers in line for Miss Chaos' admission into the NDIS if it firkin kills me. This, in turn, means a potential week of phone tag with her case manager. Yay.

No new cases and a lot of running around on my schedule today. Mayhem has a doctor's appointment. We need to buy cat food. I also need to pop into Spotlight and get hold of some florists' wire to fix the catwalk because the pool carpet is slipping.
