Wednesday, Rant Due and Expectations

I started a chapter, yesterday, and I aim to finish it today. Not pushing myself, though. Just adding a sentence or a paragraph as the muse dictates.

I owe my readers a piece about something on my mind. Maybe a help to new writers, or a guide on how to focus with ASD/ADHD. I'm leaning towards the latter. All my little tricks that I've acquired over the many, many years of dealing with my own mental fog.

I'd much prefer to be helpful and happy in this time of woe and misery.

I've figured out some jiggery-pokery I could try for my story read video, and if it works... well. It'll be lovely to go ahead with that.

I have learned that I need to do a rehearsal read before I record. As well as making pronunciation notes on any weird words.

And, of course, the usual daily offerings.

Tuesday, Patreon and Other Shenanigans

So the video editor is ludicrously easy to use. Hooray. So now I'm recording myself reading archive stories. One per day seems to be a decent limit. I'm still working out how to do subtitles without crashing the dingdang thing. Messing about in PeerTube first may make me look more professional in YouTube. When I have enough of a swing in motion to post daily.

Monday, Writer's Group and Video Plotting

My lovelies have now created a PeerTube instance. The moment I can make something and post it on there, it's joining my link hoard in the menu. There's a few technical hitches...

  1. I can't log in to the instance
  2. I currently lack a video editor
  3. I haven't made any videos.

Just a slight snag. I will be working on that as time goes by.

Saturday, Parkrun and PLNs

I did token sorting this week, so I'm testing myself next week by walking as far as I can before my heel starts to hate me.

Friday, Back to Old Patterns

The instant I finish this blog entry, I'm cleaning the catio. Now fully functional and accessible to the household felines. Then I move onwards with the daily offerings and an attempt to do a thing.

And already my plns have crashed because a parcel has arrived with subscription meds. Yay. So now my plns include putting on clothes, going place, and fetching thing.

Thursday, Appointment Day

For one glorious hour, I thought I had a solution to the Zrythm thing. The potential fix didn't work and I don't know what I did to make it not work. I mean, apart from having the Fickle Finger when it comes to tech.

I have faith that it will get unriddled in good time.

Tuesday, Patreon, Deliveries, Shopping, etc.

I owe some stuff to Patreon. I owe some offerings to y'all today. I should be recording five more chapters and that should be going up on Patreon too. I should be focussing on all of that but the allure of relax time is calling me.

On the plus side, Mum has her seasonal chocolate and a half-dozen eggs, a fix to her tech, and refreshes supplies. Yay.

Monday, Backup Reads and Back to Work

First week of not "working" during the weekend. This, in my case, means not working on the novel or any of my side projects for two days. Which, in turn, means encouraging myself to get back on to doing the thing. IF I can focus on doing half a chapter a day through the week, I can plausibly write up to two and a half chapters a week.

Friday, Trying and Very Trying

I cannot comprehend the extant set of instructions for getting new instruments into Zrythm. I'm going to try some video tutorials and see how I go.

Thursday, An Attempt Was Made

I just wrote and published yesterday's Weird Writer Wednesday. Just so I can keep the feed and reputation going. It's still Wednesday somewhere.

I'm using that justification and nobody can stop me.

Today, my PLNs are to figure out how to import instruments into Zrythm and try doing that. So the daily doodle will likely be a diary cartoon. I can do those in less than a minute and the Zrythm-related stress will be enough.

I am spending this morning going through my archives for my most popular stories. All so I can read them to TubeTube at some point. My metric? Anything with 100 or more likes gets into the system.

Saturday, Parkrun and PLNs For Later

Beloved and Adorable are unfucking servers, today. In order to get the Catio similarly unfucked, my mission tomorrow is to go forth, abduct Beloved, and haul her back to do the thing.

Tomorrow... all being well and sincerely unfucked... I also get material things unfucked over here. Yay.

Finally, the kitties can wander to the catio and enjoy the fresher air and the glimpses of the birds. And use the litter tray in a less constrained atmosphere.

Friday, ANZAC Day and Commenced PLNs

Today's the day Australia and New Zealand remembers the fallen in war. Age shall not weary them and so forth.

This morning, after cats, self-maintenance, and foot stretchies, I started braiding jute twine for my new cane cord. I have figured out that I can leave it off my cane until it's nearly done.

Thursday, Bread and Physio

Here is my cunning PLN:

  1. Start one loaf off [X]
  2. Make offerings whilst loaf continues process
  3. Bake loaf
  4. Go to physio
  5. Go process the second loaf and do things for creativity purposes, huzzah

I can make a start on the new cord for my cane, but I can't get to the tricky part until I have the entire week to do it.

Wednesday, Rant Due and Patreon Overdue

I got a notification this morning that a parcel had arrived at my AusPost locker. It was the cable I ordered sometime last week.

It's unriddled and plugged in before I turned my compy on and the tablet looks like it works. Huzzah! I shall be trying that out in the fullness of time.
