Tuesday, Day 1, Shrinky Bzns

Plague news: NO NEW CASES! One hundred and twenty-nine total active cases, with thirty-four in hospital, one in the ICU.

It is so nice to see the numbers dwindling. I can breathe a little easier even if I am still wearing a mask.

I have already posted my story for Tale Foundry but my lucky Patrons will be seeing the extended version that I had to cut because word limits.

Today is not a good day for internets in this household so let's try and do our utmost with what is there. Posting may be slow as hell.

In the news:

  • Biden blames Afghanistan for the Taliban bullshit
  • People are trying to hitch rides in airplane landing gear to get away from Afghanistan
  • Family of teen who died of Covid now in hospital with the same plague
  • Women are having their implants removed. The horror :\
  • Stupid idiots who threw that engagement party copped a huge fine, AND it might yet be a Super-Spreader event
  • Outback town outraged at first plague case after Sydney stole their jabs
  • China mocks USA for the Afghanistan fuckup
  • Only NOW does Queensland have plans for a quarantine facility -_-

Let's get this over with.

Tuesday, Day 0, Patreon and Waffles

Plague news: Five new cases - four local, one import. One hundred and fifty-three total active cases, sixty-three are in hospital, and one of those is in the ICU.

I attempted to make waffles out of Beloved's Fail-Levann and the result was.... eatable... I guess. Better with tastier accessories IMHO. The waffles turned out floppy and the pancakes were a load of crepe. Ah well.

I might actually acquire some buttermilk and try the real recipe with my starter harvest this weekend.

Tuesday, Day 0, Patreon PLNs

Plague news: Two new cases, both imports. I heard that anyone near Kippa-ring needs to get themselves tested because of one agro Knomira. Lovely. Thirty-six active cases, thirty-three in hospital and two in ICU.

I'm still not saying Queensland has a handle on things. Last time I said that, a Knomira escaped the net and spread the plague all over Brisvegas. I'm waiting for Doughnut Day to go at least halfway towards the full twenty before I declare that.

All the same,

Tuesday, Day 0, Patreon

Plague news: seven new cases, four local, three imports. Forty-seven active cases, thirty-eight in hospital. So a bunch of people are recovered? Maybe? I can hope.

My personal schedule is now adjusted. So now I bumbletumble about my morning nonsense, stream, and then write this thing. Streaming at 6AM is do-able, but only when I get up at 5.

I'll pay for it today, and get used to it tomorrow.

I have written some Tiefling tales and already done the Foundry tale.

Tuesday, Day 0, Patreon

Plague news: Five new cases, all imports. Thirty-two total, twenty-seven in hospital.

That's some scary numbers. The waves happen overseas, but they still wash up on our shores.

I have some Patreon stuff to share - yay. And some screencaps to make for the program progress. And five hundred words to write. And an Instant to create.

In the news:

  • Gold Logie winner hit by a car
  • TV Host accused of imitating That Scene Sharon Stone Did
  • China attacking crypto
  • More concern

Tuesday, Day 1, Patreon

Plague news: 11 total cases, ten in hospital. There may or may not be a sudden leap in these numbers because system maintenance.

It's Patreon Day again, and I have no idea what I'm posting. Yaaaaayyy...

Last night was HELL for me. I've had persistent hip pain that may or may not be caused by a killer combo of sitting very still on the kneeling chair plus sitting cross-legged for absolute HOURS also motionless. I need to be kinder to my musculature.

Tuesday, Day 1, GET SET!

Plague news: no new cases, fourteen active cases, all of them are in hospital.

Today's the big day. It's Fixit Day. The cabinet guy is coming around in the morning and the plumber in the evening. No, I do not know how that is supposed to work either. Apparently, it's going to. I don't even know.

Today's half hour will be adding some code to allow me to input tags. Now that I know what bits of the code I'm using actually

Tuesday, Day 0, Patreon Day

One new case, an import. Eighteen total, and seventeen in hospital. It's less than it was, but it could also get big again. Today's the day I should be googling bathroom rennos to get the vanity fixed in my slo-mo disaster area. Whee fun.

After I recover from THAT, I need to talk to the doctor's about getting the family jabbed against the plague and what would be best for Beloved (diabetic) and myself (asthmatic) as well as the kids (who have

Tuesday, Day 0, Patreon

Three new cases, all imports. Eighteen total cases, with fifteen in the hospital. Three chilling out in a hospital. There's plague ships and plague planes and aaaaaauuugghh...

My story yesterday hurt one of my readers and that's never a good feeling. My bad for not being able to imagine a hero in the setting. So today's not off to a fantastic start for this nerd. I can't rewrite the story. It's a terrible road marker on my learning to be a better

Tuesday, Day 1, Patreon Day

No new cases, no new imports. Yay. Twenty-five total cases, and all of them are in hospital. Blurgh.

I'm going to be copy-pasting stuff into Patreon before Miss Chaos wakes up. I got some writing done, but nothing much in the finished state of things. Alas.

With luck and good fortune, I might be able to do Does Not Compute today. Luck was not on my side yesterday, but today might be the charm. We shall see.

In the news:

  • Mor royal

Tuesday, Day 0, Patreon Due

Six new cases this morning, leaving a total of thirty-eight active cases and all of them are in hospital. Yeeks with beaks, folks. Bunkering too hard to tell the difference between me and a hermit at a glance.

I'm posting my Patreon nonsense today. And I haven't written enough other nonsense to supply my $1 Patreons. I need to complete something real soon now or my Patrons are SOL... And so am I because I can't afford to suspend fees again. Plague

Two new cases, and the total's stable at eleven. Nothing local, so I'm trying hard to not panic. Not easy. For instance:

  1. I started today at 3AM with a very mild but still detectable cyclone headache
  2. And a good solid dose of the Death Cough(tm) [I'm not dying, I promise. It's just a scary impersonation thereof]
  3. Remembered to bathe at least
  4. Coffee not working, please consult manual

I get the feeling I'm going to CRASH sometime in the afternoon. If not

Tuesday, Day 0, PLNs & possibilities

Two new cases send the total of actives to seven. Dangit. They're from overseas and detected in quarantine, so all is going moderately well. Yay?

I did manage some arts, yesterday, messing around with brush types in ProCreate to create a portrait version of my Tiefling. Because of course I'm going to learn about shading and creating the illusion of life with a guy who's blue.

I am keeping into the habit, which is a good thing. The more I do, the

Tuesday, Day Zero, Patreon Day

Three more cases, all from overseas and detected in quarantine. Sing along with the chorus. Fourteen active cases, fourteen chances for one arsehole. Sigh.

I'm posting my last chapter of KOSBOB on Patreon today... and an awful lot of Terrible Tiefling Tales.

Some are new. I swear I'm trying to work on the things I already started. Promise.

Headlines... Ugh... Let's see what Humanity's been up to since the last check-in:

  • Muppet refusing to give anything to Biden - including adjudication on

Tuesday!

I had one of those ideas at 1AM that came to fruition at 3AM and you know that is not going to end well. Details on my Patreon as shenanigans ensue. I've already had one salient question about the nonsense that is about to happen.

I'm going to be having fun. I hope everyone else does too.

Today is Patreon day, and there's at least ONE treat for my Patrons to enjoy. Thanks 1AM. I owe you one praise. You were good
