Wednesday, Locking In

Hocus pocus, I need to focus. Why? Well...

  • I have one less day to work on the Promptcast entry because of timing shenanigans last week
  • Beloved will be renting a van to finish up working on Adorable's ex-house
  • Which means I will have the use of my car for three days
  • Which, in turn, means that I can go on a run to MeMum's for tech support, taxi duties, and stuff delivery. Huzzah.

Mum? Write your agenda now. Further bulletins as events warrant.

Because of all that jazz, I am working on the Promptcast thing in one sitting, I might even have the time to get it edited today. Hoping to have time tomorrow if I don't have time today.

Getting a rattle on.

Tuesday, Census and Shenanigans

It's census day today, and the nosy buggers in the administration section want to know all kinds of things about me and my life. At least I'm on the rolls as an Enby now.

Noted on the e-Census:

  • No space for Jews in the religion section
  • Birth sex and gender identity are noted, as is sexuality
  • Birth sex is mandatory
  • They're really interested in how you get to work. There's tons of options including "Work from home"

We're getting it done early

Monday, Urgent Shopping Nonsense

We need kitty litter. There's other things on my list, but the litter is the most urgent of them all.

And I get to take Adorable's Mum [I think I'll go with AM for short henceforth] out on my circuit to see where I hunt out the bargains. Which promises to be a fun experience even if it will wipe me out by the time I'm done.

Today's story will be happening after my post-shopping nap, belike.

I can try to get

Sunday, Slowly Slowly S-L-O-W-L-Y

No streams I wish to catch are going today so I have been taking my sweet fucking time.

I'll be working on my daily tale very soonish to now. Also maybe taking my sweet time. Depends on the whims of my muse.

Tomorrow, the story stream will be running from the Promptcast. I'll be modding there, writing my tale as quickly as I can, and otherwise getting on with my bullshit.

It's nice to take it slowly now and again.

Onwards to

Saturday, Ailments Ahoy

Everything intermittently wrong with me has ganged up on me today.

I slept on my left shoulder wrong. Some eyelashes in my right eye decided to stage a rebellion, but they're too teeny tiny to grab with the tweezers and pull out. My lungs want to go on strike and my knees are intermittently warping on their own.

I'm doing what I can to relieve that.

Making progress on cataloguing my comics, now. At last. I give myself one folder or half

Friday: Twofer Day

I have two stories to write, to make up for the lack yesterday.

For the record, I am rested, revitalised, and reset. Ready and raring to write.

With good luck, I shall not only get a twofer written, I shall also get a folder of comics catalogued. All the better to cash the larger portion of my collection in.

I'll do the folders first, then the 'loose' stuff. THEN the filing cabinet. All the catalogued ones will be going into a crate

Wednesday, Physio, Day Off Prep, Etc

There will be no story tomorrow because I am taking a complete day off. No writing, only sloth.

I think I have earned some indulgence.

My vaguest PLNs for tomorrow include lots of gameplay, some slobbing about, and definitely some bad-for-me food.

Which I plan to acquire today.

Story shall be happening after I return from shopping and a nap. My PLN for now is to try to snag some editing for my Promptcast thing before I have to take off and

Monday, Time Windows

I want to co-ordinate a day off. This may mean going shopping after my shrink session today.

Because if I knew what the fam is doing on Tuesday, I could go shopping then, but I don't. And if I want fun cool lazytimes on Wednesday, I need to prepare.

Also plotting to begin refilling the freezer with good things. Vegetables. Treats. Maybe some meats.

I'll see what I can do for sausages since my lovelies appreciate the barbecue and the brazier at

Saturday, And a Cat!

We found and transported the errant feline! There are now four more people and a cat sharing my domicile. Yay.

We now have more fucking bread than we know what to do with. Adorable made sure we'd have plenty to tide us over the three-day baking process. So we have loaves all over the place.

I've put all of the purchased baked goods out in the open for easy predation consumption. My hope is that sandwiches help erode the supply there.

We

Friday, Maybe This Time - and a Cat

Waif was scared off by noisy door yesterday. And there's evidence that she found, killed, and consumed a rat. Maybe she can teach my fiends a few things...

The big, awkward, hard-to-shift furniture is up here, in pieces, and everywhere related to "in the way". We will be consolidating our assorted nonsense when it's all up here.

That includes two households worth of cutlery, crockery, cookware, gadgetry, and accoutrements to sift through. Yay.

And I have comics to catalogue [later to sell]

Thursday... And a Cat (We Hope)

Heavy furniture delivered and placed, extra people settling in. There's just a couple of small issues:

  1. The cat - Waif - did not like the truck and bolted while it was there.
  2. Our chest freezer decided to die a couple of days ago.

There is a hope that Waif will come running for her people when the truck is no longer there. Then it's a question on keeping the little menace indoors until we get the greater catio patio accomplished.

The good

Wednesday, Bread and Truck Day

I got clearance to make bread. My lovelies are getting a truck to move the tricky bits, and this house is going to be CROWDED-crowded.

C-R-O-W-D-E-D.

But it is very good to get back to bread again.

The downside at the moment is the lack of bench space for the bread-making accessories. I foresee this being A Thing for continuing bread adventures.

We will figure things out. Eventually.

My hobby for the day is progressively putting moved food substances away. All the
