Tuesday, Patreon and Power Problems

Yesterday contained at least three blackouts and a LOT of internet losses.

There's more rain this morning so I am more than a little on edge about loss of anything I'm working on without notice.

I also need to go shopping for Sammich Fillins, so that's added to my daily quest list.

At least I have functioning coffee now. Huzzah.

The new pay schedule is set, though there remains some minor jiggery-pokery regarding a few things here and there. We'll get all that sorted. It's a bit of a relief to know where the money is and when it's appearing.

Next on my list of things to unriddle, the payments I have to arrange into the new budget.

I'm going to stick to the fortnightly shopping budget. It just makes sense.

Thanks to blackout, I missed out on a side-project yesterday. Circumstances beyond my control. If I can... I'll try to do two today and not take the bonus token since it's catching up.

Come 9AM, I'm offski to get essential supplies, but still being Rennie Pinchpenny about it all.

Once everything is smoothly settled, I might be convinced to splurge.

For now?

I'm going to post what I can when I can. With all fingers crossed that it gets through.

Saturday, Parkrun and PLNs Disrupted

I was supposed to take Beloved home with me, today. Alas, her meds have "stepped up" and she was literally throwing up on the ride to Adorable's place. So I could not do that.

I allegedly get her to share my air tomorrow. Which, in turn, has cancelled my D&D game tomorrow morning. All so I can be conscious in time for her to come to me.

Last time we made that arrangement, the plans fell through.

Wednesday, Wordpress BULLSHIT

So I started my day on some unwelcome news: The body corporate that owns Tumblr and Wordpress is now going to sell all the content there to fucking OpenAI and Midjourney.

Thank Grop I didn't post anything of vast import over there. I'm going to have to remove my chapters because that's MY intellectual property, dangit, and no bot is going to have it until it's professionally published.

Tuesday, Patreon, Bread, and Shrink Day

Just finished a telehealth call with my shrink. I have Wilson, my wholemeal Starter, incubating. They have a little over an hour remaining before the autolysing begins.

I'm pretty sure the amount of ice is responsible for my bread turning into sod loaves. So I'm back to being particular about the ice I use. It could also be that Wilson was still waking up last time and they'll be on full form sometime real soon now.

Monday, Foundry Reads and Shenanigans

So here WAS the PLN:

  1. Drop Beloved off at the train station
  2. Drive to North Lakes
  3. Acquire Ashwagandha just as the Chemist Warehouse there opens at 8AM
  4. Maybe write a sentence or two during the SHORT wait.

The key factor in this PLN was that Google insisted that Chemist Warehouse was open at 8AM. Google LIED.

Sunday, Laziness

The D&D stream went well. The bit I had prepared for the lols didn't fly, but that's okay. I had fun doing it anyway.

Finally, after a subjective age of errors, I am able to watch Dungeon Meshi aka Delicious in Dungeons, which is a fun anime about cooking and eating the monsters in D&D dungeons.

I shall be moving along with today's offerings and a sentence or two in A Devil's Tale. At a leisurely pace.
