Tuesday, Patreon and Urgent Shopping

I owe my patrons a few things, starting with the five chapters' audio I was trying to record when my tower borked in the first place.

I'll be recording those very, very soon.

The good news is that most of a chapter I was recording at implosion is still there! I just need to loop in half a sentence and then, as Jukebox the Ghost sang, I am off to the races.

I also need to go fetch a new cable to charge my phone overnight and that's going to steal some time from everything else. But it will also let me restock my fish oil pills so I will take that marginal win.

I'll be going on that venture after the second loaf has begun proofing. And hope that my borked ankle puts up with the expedition. The shortest route is to JB's, then to the chemists' across the way and crossing my fingers that they have what I'm looking for.

I should be able to get back before I need to juggle bread and ovens.

Tuesday, Patreon and Extra Owwies

Yesterday, I could barely walk because of the ankle. My opposite knee doesn't like supporting the extra weight, so I've been wearing a knee brace there for at least four days.

After yesterday, my achey shoulders have been worse because supporting my weight with the cane has set the knots there into a worse tangle.

As I said to MeMum, I need a big burly bloke to wring the knots out of my shoulders with a bucket of Deep Heat.

Today's theory is that my regular walking shoes are too heavy for my fragile, sprained joint. Which is why I might be getting nerve janglies when I put that thing on a cushion or up on my knee.

I have things to share with the nice people funding a fraction of my lifestyle. I have video content to catch up on making.

I have a game to refine, including making sure that the popups stay within the game board space, minimising whitespace, and making certain the highlights are present. Then I push that as Beta 1.01 before wrestling with the tutorial nonsense.

Because videos, my offerings are a bit more scant. But I do have a finished story for the dollar tier. My ability to write chapters is slow at the moment, and I know I'll eventually get back into the swing of things.

I had PLNs to go shopping today. And then I noticed a blind spot creeping into my field of vision. Whoopsy doopsy, I have a stress headache creeping up on me, so I added some painkillers to my morning doses.

So the video editor is ludicrously easy to use. Hooray. So now I'm recording myself reading archive stories. One per day seems to be a decent limit. I'm still working out how to do subtitles without crashing the dingdang thing. Messing about in PeerTube first may make me look more professional in YouTube. When I have enough of a swing in motion to post daily.

I just finished the run-around for stuff and things. Overspent a little, but I won't need that much next week. I hope.

I have enough stability in my feet to actually go out for supplies. Which is a good thing, because we need them. I just need to put on my other knee before I take off, and have ice prepped for the return. We have a stock, so in theory I should be fine.

I have a day of minimal expectations, so of course I'm piling expectations on myself.

I think I'll be sharing a fanfic with my Patrons in order to plump out the yield this week. I don't have a lot of Archive work either and I am trying to not feel bad about this.

Mayhem's picked up a tummy bug, so I don't have to drive. The downside for him is that he has no paid time off. Bummer.

I am going to live relatively luxuriously for those four extra hours today.
