theres this painter she really really likes and she wants one of his paintings

but she’s not willing to pay for one of his paintings and want me to copy it but change it and use different colours?

this pisses me of for several reasons

1. I’m not a painter, Im an illustrator. Everyone in my family assumes, just because Im an artist I must be painter. because artist = painter right??

2. Im not copying some other dudes work and changing it. PRETTY sure that’s art theft

3. She’s under the impression that if I’d do it, I’d do it for free because she’s family. eh no. 

4. if you like an artists work?? purchase it?? support the artist???

Agree to do it, but tell her that it’ll cost her like 20% more than the original art

Darren Wilson still has not been arrested or charged.

Mike Brown’s parents have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the city of Ferguson, former Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson and former Officer Darren Wilson.

Dorian Johnson has also filed a lawsuit against the city of Ferguson, Darren Wilson, and Tom Jackson.

The 2 lawsuits are headed to federal court as requested by Darren Wilson and Tom Jackson.

Judge Joseph Walsh deferred ruling on a request for a probe into Bob
