Thursday, House of Pestillence

Mayhem has a lingering Lurgi, this time. He might be starting to believe in the power of sanitising communal keyboards and may begin to believe in sanitising his hands before touching food or his face.

Time will tell.

Pseuducku news: It's not me, it's the app. My trouble with sound files is a bug in Stencyl that needs fixing, not anything I was fucking up. Yay?

So alongside doing yesterday's rant that I forgot, I shall now make room for a side project or two. Getting stuff done by a process of elimination. Huzzah.

BUT it's not all fun and cherries here. I attempted to assemble my Raspberry Pi, according to two sets of instructions. One that came with the packet and the other that I found on a helpful website. These instructions have some conflicts that resulted in some... devastation.

I'm convinced I accidentally broke some moderately expensive technology by following the instructions.

I'm a genius like that.

I've boxed it all up and shall be consulting the QPP this Saturday. That gives me two and a half days to hate myself for making a mess. Which I am trying not to do.

I'll do my late rant first, and then attempt to focus on the daily offerings.

Tuesday, Quack Trip and Pi Maybe

I'm seeing my GP today. There to get a scrip for breathing meds, and talk about getting my left heel surgically adjusted so I can maybe walk without fucking pain.

That's happening close to ten in the morning.

Friday, House of Pestillence

Mayhem didn't listen to my good advice on shaking his lurgi. He's taking that good advice today. By Monday, he'll be back at work.

I'm going to try Stencyl again. Unriddling the sound issue is a complicated problem that includes converting files to other formats and stripping their metadata. I tried finding or making copies of the extant sound files, but... that's something I must mess about with.

Monday, Day of Rest(ish)

Mayhem's picked up a tummy bug, so I don't have to drive. The downside for him is that he has no paid time off. Bummer.

I am going to live relatively luxuriously for those four extra hours today.

There's no backup readings today because the person running the streams couldn't read anything this week. So now the sundry authors of the Archive are milling around in Discord and talking about random nonsense.

Friday, Preparations Ahoy

This afternoon, after I have Mayhem back home, I am packing my old rig in the boot. All the better to deliver to Adorable on the following morrow.

Tomorrow: I go on parkrun, enjoy brunch with the fam, deliver the tower, and then make my offerings before catching a slep. And THEN I might just be doing a D&D sesh as the DM in the wee smol NEXT morning.

Thursday, Shopping Done, Light Expectations

Squeezing tasks out of minutes to spare included a brief Leyland's Tour for household supplies. I am finally back and about to make my offerings.

I have a Starter to feed, the harvest of that to bake, a treato to ingest, and all my daily offerings as well as attempting to make a thing firkin work.

Yes, I have come full circle with attempting to make Stenycyl work again :P

Tuesday, Fewer Hours

Mayhem had a later start this morning and an earlier finish this arvo. I have less hours for my assorted shenanigans today. Including making sure Owlbear works on OBS with everything else.

Thursday, Bread and PLNs

I was up at 5 to feed the cats and my starter so that I would have ample time to start my starter so that it would be ready by after 9AM. Bread math.

I have the dough autolysing as I type.

I pln on getting a wriggle on with the processing and hope that I get most things done before it's time for the long drive to fetch son-of-mine.

I have a shrink appointment in a few short minutes. I also have to figure out what I'm ranting about this week. Probably a little thing about my favourite band.

Book 4 of A Devil's Tale has an official end, which means the chapters I'm involved with are now in Book 5.

I'm squeezing productivity out of my minutes available this morning. I have a two-hour round trip commencing in a few minutes, followed by shopping for varied essentials. Then there's the time window to wedge in the rest of my offerings today.

Tuesday, Schedule Rebuggerings

Mayhem has a part-time job. Which, because public transit two and from takes THREE FUCKING HOURS EACH WAY, I am involved with. Delivery and retrieval. So now I have a time window and a dedicated four hours' of driving each day. Huzzah.

I am therefore squeezing in anything I can into the intervening hours.
