Challenge #04881-M132: First Steps to Peace

Nine Princes and Princesses from across the realms receive a mysterious letter, that they must attend an important gathering of unspecified content; one to be held in a peaceful land which has no quarrel with any of the nobles. Indeed, the ruler there declares no knowledge of the invitations nor that he had ever heard of the sprawling palace where the nine gather with their servants and favorites. What unfolds next surprises everyone involved… -- Deathshead419

Eighteen letters. Each on high-class paper, by the same unknown hand. Each edged in gold and marked with a unique, if small, gemstone. There were no implied matches. Not even in the advance warning to the Duke Phurlydow, so he could make ready to host them all.

He had a magnificent garden, and the weather was pleasant, so he had prepared a garden party and ready the biggest ballroom, just in case.

Phurlydow apologised frequently for the lack of appropriate accommodations. The young heirs to kingdoms were just as confused as he was, and forgave his lack if it meant solving the mystery. Therefore, there were nineteen detectives attempting to crack the case.

The CRC and several Alliance officials come together to discuss the shocking turn of events. The humans have begun to befriend, the Thranityr and help more and more clans go from being Vorax to being contributing citizens. Even to the point of becoming full allies with the humans. -- Anon Guest

"They're Humans," said one of the board members present in the quorum. "They'll pack-bond with anything alive. Even the things so toxic it'd kill them to touch it. They just invent

Challenge #03838-J186: Pax Nuptias or Pax Infernus

The two want to wed, their countries are at war, their love, forbidden. Then they get the idea of how to end the war. Pretend to suggest political marriages, pretend to be reluctant, trick their families to do what will end the war, and allow their love. -- Anon Guest

There'd been far fewer wars since Pax Infernus began. The nations fearful of the Demon Lord resorted to icy politeness and sports matches. Wars of words carried on between bitter enemies, florid
