This fundraiser is for our friend Clara and her immediate need to leave her current living situation with her abusive and trans-misogynistic family in Venezuela, where she has no support and is under scrutiny and emotional attack daily.  She has a home and community here in North Carolina, but no way of affording the cost of a passport, Visa, and flights here not to mention immigration costs. This fundraiser is an attempt to get things off the ground, every little bit counts!  Thanks.

Help my best friend move to a supportive positive situation with fellow trans people. Thank you!

So here’s the skinny:

On July 31st, me and my fiance, mosteamybeats, are to be OUT of my grandparent’s apartment. The landladies have said that even though we’re “good kids, who don’t cause any problems”, they don’t believe in people living with their parents. So we have to be moved out by the end of the month. Sucks, we know.

We’ve tried looking for apartments in the last few months, but because I can’t

Work, work, work...

Alongside working on a novel and doing my Instants, I’ve been putting together a mega-master file of all my Instants past.

It’s for a widget on my pro page. Visitors will be able to press a button and get a completely random story from my copious works.

Theoretically, it should entice peeps to maybe pay some money for any of my Years of Instants. Or buy the novels. Or at least think kindly of my name…

Ahem.

It’s

It’s amazing how some people think sexual orientation and/or gender identity is a choice, yet men objectifying and/or raping women and girls is “totally natural.”

Men hate being generalized, but will freely compare their own gender (including themselves) to sharks and starving dogs with the “meat suit” analogy.

well then we can just “put them down”, right?

I get the feeling you’re having a bad day. I read the OP as pointing out inconsistencies and

Seriously. Every other country either:

  • has its own cans of arseholes
  • is fuck-off cold
  • doesn’t speak English

And when you get down to it, despite the toxic flora, fauna and mycotta, and the deadly landscape and the occasional cyclone season - this country would be perfect if we could just get rid of

Challenge #00897-B166: Adult Onset Responsibility

So if the first person to contact another world is automatically ambassador, what happens if an accident involves first contact being between the alien civilisation and Bigot McAssface, who would fit right in on that Greater Deregulation. Specifically, the rest of BMA’s civilisation, especially the ones interested in galactic alliance, would usually say the complete opposite of anything he does, but now he’s their galactic spokesperson.

[AN: This story will contain slurs because my main character is an arsehole]

This is too precious to not share :3

As for a plausible answer: Humans tend to stay in a place once they’ve set up housekeeping. Hell, there’s this town in the US with an underground coal fire going on, and there’s still a few peeps hanging around there because they won’t move.

Now for the details:

First, we have a group of people who moved in because the hunting was incredibly good. They immediately rendered extinct all the

thisisnotharmless:

Speaking of linguistics, there’s one particular linguistic tick that I think clearly separates Baby Boomers from Millennials: how we reply when someone says “thank you.”

You almost never hear a Millennial say “you’re welcome.” At least not when someone thanks them. It just isn’t done. Not because Millenials are ingrates lacking all manners, but because the polite response is “No problem.” Millennials only use “you’re welcome” sarcastically when they haven’t been thanked or when something has
