I solved the Discord background issue with the simple expedient of uninstalling and re-installing the dingdang thing. This is the software equivalent of turning it off and turning it back on again.
Huzzah.
I have the double-dough juggling day going on, so whatever I get done counts as a minor miracle.
I'm hoping to at least get a scribbly-sketch of my cover done at some point today. I did half a chapter yesterday and that was an achievement. I don't know if I get that same thing today.
Time, as always, will tell.
If I can get half a chapter done a day, I'm just three days away from writing the last words in this thing. Even if I can only do one day a week, that's less than a month.
...holy shit, I'm nearly done.

And I'm in an editing cycle for the first book of ADT. Which is more fun than I thought it would be because two friends and I are going through it and having a good old gasbag along the way.
I will get roped in to help folks with theirs. Quid pro quo, after all. Creative people helping creative people. Needs to be a thing.
