There's a new 'feature' on Patreon, allegedly for safety. They need my legal name. They need it:
a) to avoid payout delays
b) to keep the community safe
c) to earn on the platform
They give all three of these as an excuse in the popup on Patreon. Fortunately, their security is pretty up there. I am still less than inclined to immediately trust the corporations.
They all piss me off.
I'm still keeping my government name as much out of the interwebs as I can. I don't want some anti-trans MAGA chud tracking me down and making a news item. Given the current political atmosphere? It could happen.
I pln on getting the daily tale done and dusted so I have more time to chill. Hope I make it a thing.
