"How did the bird get in? This was a protected environment." Exhibit A was a pink and grey parrot with a white crest. Currently contained, under strenuous objection, under an overturned basket. It was also dangling upside-down and spiritedly attempting to gnaw its way out.
"I don't know," protested Lam. "I was gonna clean the vent filters like you told me, but when I had the panel off--"
