The solution to the cursed ‘metal nipple’ problem is to have two very important things: a hand vice, and a set of fine metal files.

The hand vice pictured here has some foam pieces cut off a bit of leftover underlay so nothing nasty happens to the bit that’s going to show.

The back of the piece in the vice is fucked up because of my prior attempts with sandpaper. It won’t be visible by the time I’m done.

And yes, it takes a bit of a while to file a ‘nipple’ flat… but it’s worth it.

Elvis has left the building

It’s August 1977, news has spread that Elvis Presley has died. For Amy & Zerachiel this is a problem. Niether can find them. Their department heads are furious, the records show that the King has just dissappeared and if Amy and Zerachiel can’t come up with the goods they’re fired. Might be that he’s not even human, mortal or even subject to either of their departments.

Okay, so you remember how I was trying to make more earrings for the fantastic Miss Isabella Bennett…

I’ve hit a snag.

Namely, that pierced studs no longer have a flat bit I can just clip the stem off and then that stud is mine to play with… nope. They have a fucking NIPPLE on the back now for no reason whatsoever.

It basically means that I can’t glue ex-studs to the clips, any more.
