Anthropomorphic

A 1-post collection

So... strictly out of idle curiosity...?

Is there anyone, anywhere who does really scientifically logical anthropomorphic art?

I’m not talking busty bunnies, here.

Let me give you an idea of what I’m after:

An anthropomorphic, female, Guinea Fowl who actually looks like a scientifically viable alien, rather than the heavily sexualised fare I usually trip over when I search for anything with fur or feathers on [Don’t get me wrong, some furry porn art is simply dribblingly fantastic, but I’m after something considerably more PG].

What I really want in my mind’s eye is this bird as the ‘hero’ of a schlock-horror movie poster-type book cover. She’s in her jungle adventure clothes [Rule 1 of the Amalgam Universe: There are no naked aliens, but the definition of 'clothing’ may vary] and doing the shrieking heroine thing in reaction to the monster - a human! Specifically, a human kid in overalls and a T-shirt.

The title of this opus is The Amity Incident and I must insist my pen name is in smaller font than the title. Standards, you know.

I haven’t even finished writing this sucker, yet. It won’t be out until next year. Late December if I’m incredibly lucky.

BUT - I want this run-up so I can get every last piddling detail down just right before I do publish. I’m a picky A-hole when it comes to my covers.

And yes, I can pay.

If you don’t know anyone who can do the thing, please reblog this post. Spread the word. Someone, somewhere, must be capable and willing to take on the challenge.

If you do know someone who could help, send them a linkie to this post.

Thanks for your time, everyone. ::smooches::
