Pretty certain David’s entered Troll!Mode. He did this before with the Jackawoo. I haven’t recognised the pattern, yet, but I have a theory that it happens whenever he’s had an overdose of Fan!Shit.
It’s up to the fanmlly to keep our shit to a minimum so that we see less of Troll!Mode-Dave on various arenas.
I’m still prone to blame a cold. Assorted cold meds to strange things to strange minds.
But: the best advice is that which we use for Rabbit’s look - wait five minutes.
For all we know, they could be testing us.
