FYI people: painted lenses are bad news.

The paint can scratch the fuck out of the surface of your eyes and potentially ruin your vision forever.

OR if the paint is on the surface, it can scratch the fuck out of your eyelids and lead to infections.

PLEASE for the love of anything - DO NOT GET PAINTED FUCKING LENSES.

Look for the ones with the color as part of their structure. Your eyes will thank you.

Tell your friends. Tell everyone who uses contacts for cosplay. Spread the news. Paint needs to stay the fuck away from your eyeballs.

So instead of spending 10 dollars on a thing of Mehron, I bought this for 3 dollars online. It shipped fast and when I put it on, one Finger dab covered my whole cheek!!! It spread so evenly too!

We have a con coming up in Australia, and one of my friends couldn’t get a cosplay done in time. But he put this together.

He made a “cosplay superhero” called Captain Patch-It (sometimes lovingly refered to as “the Fairy Cosmother”), and his costume consists of anything and everything you can think of in case someone has an accident or malfunction with their cosplay. He’s an awesome guy.
