Strange Projects
I have created some Zucchini and Carrot cheese bake, and I have re-invented Quiche, this morning. I also owe my Patrons some stuff.
Not a lot of progress, but at least I seem to be maintaining my two hundred words per day this week. So far, so good.
Recipes in my foodie blog as soon as I can wrangle it.
My attention, for the most part, is making good foods. I'm also washing up some of my old takeout boxes so I can store all this veggie goodness.
For those of you who were wondering, the re-invented quiche is a variation on the "egg bread" that is going around the traps, the base recipe is one block of Philly plus eight eggs. Everything else is variations on a theme.
My variations: A honkbunch of chopped kale, zucchini, carrots, broccoli, herbs and spices and a dash of salt. Plus a scattering of three-cheese mix on top and bake for 40 minutes, and you have crustless quiche.
I did forget to blend the eggs before I added the cream cheese, so the first one has random chunks of cream cheese in there. Whatever.
It's almost half-past nine, the US is going bonkers and people are dying but the top spots on the news are all about things and money. Feh.
I've worn out my ability to want to read the news, it just keeps breaking my heart.
