Thanks for being very civil, Anon. I appreciate it.
It’s a problematic world. Going after someone for something they thought was funny at the time with rage-cannons loaded isn’t the way, either.
I’ve seen members of the fanmily quit over the Salad Incident, as well as numerous examples of skewed humour from the twins. The point *I’m* trying to make is that everyone has said or done something on the spur of the moment that - in retrospect - wasn’t a wise choice.
All of our heroes have feet of clay. Every. Last. One.
Why?
Because we’re all human.
I still don’t get why we don’t allow our heroes to have that humanity aspect… why we have to be in their faces/up their butts about the minor quibbley things [Not saying that eating disorders are a minor quibble! I’m saying politically incorrect jokes are minor quibbles] is something I don’t always grok.
Read all tags, take with dose of salt, and at the very least, try to be polite about it. At least the Bennetts admit that they’re going to say politically incorrect things and they’ve stated that they don’t mean anything by it.
Does that count as an apology in advance?
