Nevermind, here we go.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Delilah was relaxing on an unused couch with her MP3 player blaring when Shiloh took a flying leap and landed on her legs. Delilah let out a loud screech and yanked the ear buds out of her ears while glaring at the brat. Shiloh giggled. Kid had a million “big brothers and sisters” and she just had to bother her didn’t she? “What?” She snapped. “Victor and Sammy are in big trouble.” Shiloh shared. Then again, you had to love a kid who would share gossip so readily. “Really? What for?” Delilah smiled winningly and sat up. “For shame, Delilah.” Stu interrupted, strolling into the room. “Pumping kids for gossip.” “Shut up-” “Where’s Isaiah?” Shiloh asked, looking stricken. “You were watching him-” “Relax, my dads got him. Kid needed a diaper change and I wasn’t doing that.” “So anyway, why are Victor and Sammy in trouble?” Delilah was never one to be deterred for long. “Oh, they were supposed to be watching Olivia and she disappeared.” Shiloh informed her. “What? That’s not interesting at all!” Times like this she was really glad she didn’t live at the Institute full-time. Then she felt a twinge of guilt. “Is Olivia okay?” Stu rolled his eyes. “You’re such a humanitarian. If you bothered to pay attention to the world around you, you would know that she hitched a ride on the x-jet, wandered around the Amazon basin jungle with a wild animal of some kind and is now safely back with her parents.” Delilah’s eyes widened. “Oh my God! Sammy and Victor are in BIG trouble right?” She asked Shiloh for confirmation. Shiloh nodded “And I’m mad at Olivia ‘cause she didn’t bring me with her.” “If she used the hidey-hole I’m thinking of, you both wouldn’t have fit anyway.” Stu said absently as he picked up the remote and started channel surfing. “…-once again, Madripor government in denying any knowledge or involvement and while details are sketchy it’s clear-” The camera zoomed in on a poster featuring mutants -all exotic looking most of them underage and in various states of undress[1]. Shiloh slapped a hand over her mouth while Delilah covered the young girls eyes and Stu simultaneously covered both her ears. “…-this was no ordinary circus.” “Uh, Dad!” Stu yelled. Fred quickly arrived in the room, Isaiah perched happily in the oversized bib pocket of his overalls. “What’s the matter?” Delilah used her free hand to wordlessly point at the screen. “…“Yeah, at first we thought it was just an uprising of the, um, ‘attractions’ but then we found signs that some kind of stealth aircraft had landed here-…” Fred had heard enough, he immediately walked to a wall intercom unit and called up the Professors office. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [1] and if Temujin just happens to be featured on this poster… |

Yeah, my idea is basically another mission, this one to Madripoor to investigate but I think most of the full-time X-Men are in Nova Roma right now.

"I...do...wrong...?" He asked, dropping the lava as if it really had burned him. "No. my sweet one." She sighed. "But your grandfather was a very powerful man. And he had many friends. Through no fault of your own you are responsible for removing him from power. There are those who will not like you for that. They may seek to hurt you in retribution." She sighed again. "Then there is the question of your powers." She gestured with her own hand, sending the lava back down from where she'd inadvertently called it. "Even though you appear to share my power, I am Queen now and will have no time to instruct you in its use. And it can be a very destructive power." She looked at the X-Men. "It may be best, for your safety, and the safety of all, if you were to travel with my dear friends here to learn how to properly use the gifts you have been given." -------------------- |
