> Guidelines, Rules and Regs
Normally, I'm an easy-going admin [you may now laugh] and I prefer that my forum didn't weighed down with rules and regulations. So please pay attention to the few that I do actually enforce.

1 - RESPECT. Please respect all the rights of your fellow 'boarders. That includes the right to say what they want to say and how they say it. You can argue, fine, but please don't start any wars. Similarly, respect other people's material by not pretending its your own when you post it. Always give credit.

2- SPAM. I don't like it. You don't like it. As an advertising medium, it sucks wet farts out of five-week-dead elephant carcasses... SO FOR THE LOVE OF YOUR FAVOURITE DEITY, DON'T POST ANY! If you do happen to ignore this rule under the mistaken assumption that it's your right to post spam and I should respect it, please respect *MY* right to can the living hell out of your account.

3 - TROLLS. Trolls are suckwaisters who have nothing better to do with their puny excuses for lives than to go around annoying people who were previously enjoying themselves. Whilst I respect their right to seek entertainment however they see fit, I would much prefer it if they played 'dodgeball' on the nearest busy highway. Trolls are not welcome and will not be tolerated.

4 - PLAGURISM. Posting other people's art as your own is not only frowned upon but highly discouraged. If you like someone's lyrics and think they're inspiring, fine. Talk about it in the Musings forum. Don't slap a couple of sentences on it and call it songfic or I may have to take a contract out on your arse. Similarly, it's always a wise idea to double-check that that old fic you just found wasn't downloaded from somewhere else by plugging a few key phrases into Google. If you're dubious about a piece of fanart - ask if anyone's seen it elsewhere. Plagurism is a preventable crime.

5 - FUN. It's possible, even though I've just gone draconian, right here. Just be free to enjoy yourself, so log as it's at no-one else's expense.
